"Hold for tap" is the as not having tap. If you are going to call a pedal "tap", you have to have a dedicated switch for it OR have the pedal to work like the "smart tap" that NUX has in its Atlantic delay pedal.

not sure i'm a fan of the single button tap tempo feature in a live situation.

Better than no tap tempo option and only takes a second to activate. It's a good use of space with a pedal this size.

There’s plenty of other tremolo pedals with two foot-switches that will fix this for you. That’s a silly thing to get hung up on for this single button pedal

No clue how this came up 3 years later, but since someone tried to call me out on how to properly pronounce it and then deleted their comment... It's "TREM-a-lo". Emphasis on the "trem", soft "olo". It's why we call it a "trem pedal" for short instead of an "olo pedal", however, that said, "olo pedal" has a fun ring to it.
