I've been playing guitar for 20 years and I never imagined we'd be doing this. It's awesome.

TIMExBANDIT it is super cool. For a while, they’ve been working hard to make software that acts like hardware, but this is more like hardware that acts like software. Either way, its really neat.

I think this Toneprint, editing technology has really met it's natural match in a tremolo pedal, and the parameters relevant to tremolo pedals.

Finally a proper review of the features you get with the Editor! Well done! 👍

Thanks for a really useful and informative demo of this amazing pedal. I don't wish to sound greedy but I'm surprised that TC didn't include the Mash stomp-button feature and a couple more Toneprint slots, but I guess we can't have everything - yet.

I agree with this, my first tc pedal was the HOF2 which includes both (mash and +slots). I'm missing them over here...

Still, very happy with this tremolo ! Great product :)

I think with those bar settings you could do some slicer/sequencer style effects. Like having a hard chopping square wave tremolo set to eighth notes for one bar, then changing it to quarter notes in the second bar. They explain a little about it in the tc promo video

I want a custom setting that sounds like what they sing to Nemo in the volcano scene. Wah ooh wah hee wah oh oh oh... but I can't crack the waveform code...

How would you say this pedal stands vs BOSS TR-2 ?

is there any way to approximate a harmonic tremolo with this? My Plethora x3 will be arriving soon and I can find out for myself , just wondered if anyone had tried it

Idk man but let me know if you find out, I'm also interested

Great sounding & looking pedal. Thanks. I do wish TC would come out with a new ,,,??? say a new Nova system that has multiple effects with a like 6 or tone print slots for what ever effect you want. Something like that.

where did you find the firmware? I can't find it.

What is that power supply you are using?
@60CycleHumcast7 жыл бұрын
thomas666 just a cheap joyo brick, but the cable is from 3monkeys. Custom length power cables, they are pretty easy to make.

do all pedals have these editors ?
@tcelectronic7 жыл бұрын
All of our TonePrint range, yes (that's pretty much them all with the exception of our overdrives/distortions/boosters/loopers!) :-)

Thank you for replying. will there be the toneprint option for future overdrives/distortions/boosters/loopers.?

Is there a simple way to dial in an exact specific BPM? Short of turning on a metronome and then manually tapping it in after holding down the switch for 2 seconds? When I first saw this pedal I was really excited that it had tap tempo and was a "normal" form factor pedal. I was about to buy one until I realized it has no tap input jack to allow an external tap tempo control to set specific BPM (i.e like a time bandit or similar).
@paddling_out7 жыл бұрын
In the software, there's a "LFO Speed" control in hertz. So you can convert a given BPM to hertz, then set the preset to that. For instance, 100bpm is 1.667hz for a quarter note. Also, I haven't tried it, but you can probably map a knob to this, and have a few set speeds that you could scroll through (like switching between 60, 80, and 100bpm for instance).

I have the delay and this seems to be the same way, you can either use the pedal as a tap, or you can press the pedal and strum against the strings, hand on strings, not strumming notes, and that does the same. I prefer that method than the foot tap, the hand seems more accurate

In terms of BPM, how slow does the tremolo get, and how fast does it get?
@guitarandbass19957 жыл бұрын
Brad Dietz it can go super slow or super fast and everything in between depending on what tempo you tap in and what subdivision you have selected.
