Excellent! SGs are pretty hard to dislike. I always end up coming back to those little one pickup jobs. Everything where and as it should be. Thanks for tuning in Justin, and welcome!

The tips that you have onscreen are handy, especially the one about polishing cloths and compound. Almost missed a few of them the first time around. Excellent result! Excited to see how it comes out as a single HB SG. Can you expand on the Home Depot paint that works well with Gracey’s? I have a few projects that can stand to be touched up a bit.

Thanks R! Absolutely, home depot sells a brand of clear lacquer called Deft, it comes in a spray can and is as close to a well checking nitro as can be had without shipping!

@@breilly66 that’s my biggest obstacle when it comes to buying nitro. The shipping is almost as much as a can of the stuff! So I wait for projects to stack up so I can order a few at a time but by then I lose interest. If Deft works out, game changer!

The shipping is alot. And it's a wait too! I've started ordering colors just to have a color. Dakota Red has been on deck for a year. Thinking a Musicmaster build for that. But the ship cost is weighty. If you order 2 or more from Graceys they'll refund some of your shipping and bundle them. But still.... there's gotta be a simpler way.

New to your channel and great job on what I've seen.. I heard you mention a Japanese Gibson yet to drop, so wondering if you're referring to an Orville LP.. I've been a fan of the lawsuits since the 70s while touring in S Korea.. anyway are you going to drop video soon? Love to hear your thoughts on the higher end japanese guitfiddles?

Cheers Philip! I do have a Greco review on the schedule coming up! Love the Burny and Orville lines. Those guitars are heroically undervalued!

I keep checking the viewer comments for one from John Monroe…

These days at sessions, I call it John Monroe and the other players know what I mean. Now they call the guitar that as well. One of these days, someone will say something.
