Very inspiring interview. I like all the points about adjusting to a new life in the UK through doing art and volunteering. I live in Canada and have to deal with a long winter with low light. I find regular exercises in the local recreation center, walking in a mall, go to library/ concerts, having house parties and/ or hobbies will help lift my spirits. Also take enough vitamin D.
Regular resistance weight training is the best way to tackle seasonal affective disorder aside from exposing to sunlight. Besides, pick up some hobbies to kill time.
