Lovely to see you back again 😊 Trailer = hell of a ride 😮 It has been confirmed by the BBC it is The Toymaker 😊 The Lady he is talking to is Ruth Madely a disabled actress, wheelchair user like myself. I like Kate but kind of expected her to be in it to be honest. I wouldn't insure that building 😂 The scene where David gets angry and the words he used reminds me of when he had to make the choice of Wilf or himself. I think the Toymaker puts him in a similar situation as part of his games possibly even with Wilf again. Marionettes are the puppet's proper names. Loved the scene at the end caught me by surprise too. The tardis noise leading into a regeneration type noise and Ntuti appearing 😮 heard people say they can hear the gasp that Jodi made going into the regeneration but I haven't been able to hear that yet. Hi Char, welcome back awesome bit of rambling about the new trailer. I liked the new trailer. The 60th specials look amazing, especially the bit in the trailer were The Tardis gets taken to UNIT HQ. by an helicopter, favourite line Then we go and kick its arse 😂😂😂 proper Donna moment that 🙂 I think maybe Donna nearly gets killed by The Toymaker or the other evil thingy that’s returning as mentioned in the trailer, but The Doctor takes the hit they regenerate into the 15th Doctor and saves Donna some how from death maybe 🙂 I think if any old companions appear in the specials it could be at UNIT HQ. If the 14th and the 15th Doctors only appear in the special’s I’m fine with that and technically it’s still a multi Doctor story with both of them. I think maybe one of the fun parts of the specials will be seeing all the references from the show like they did in the 50th special🙂

As someone who's settled into being more of a classic who fan these days, I must say kudos to you for keeping up the faith and incredible enthusiasm. The trailer did get me quite enthused, and felt like a bit of a dip back into the early days of the 2005 revival excitement. I probably will give the special a watch after all. A long wait without much publicity gave me a lot of time to dwell on the stuff I haven't liked about RTD's approach and I was wondering if I might be better just giving it a miss and leaving the show in the past (I did a whole 2-part video on it, infact). But maybe like muscle memory there's always going to be that memory of when it was exciting like almost nothing else and tapped into my child-self's imagination. Especially if it is going to be the escapism we all need these days (which Chibnall so often wasn't by being too 'current year') Besides, my older neighbour downstairs (who's a bit housebound at his age) likes watching the show with me, so I'll probably watch it just to hang out with him.
