Despacito is the biggest single of all time, but didn’t win anything. That’s What I Like was the 14th most streamed song last year. What this is telling me is that the Grammys has favorites. I think realistically i was happy with any album winning as long as it wasn't Migos culture, not that i don't like thal album, cause i do, but it just wasn't nearly as good as the others, but i thought that the front runners were 4:44, DAMN., and Flower Boy, i personally thought DAMN. was the better overall album, in terms of being super thematic and thought provoking as well as being better produced in my opinion, but 4:44 and Flower Boy both were if not tied with DAMN, like a millimetre less than DAMN. but thats just me, i know others prefer Flower Boy and 4:44

To answer your question Anthony, no they probably didn't listen to all of the records in these categories. When it comes to the final committee they have to vote for a certain number of categories. This makes it to where they sometimes have to vote for awards that they are not well versed in. Yes they have the opportunity to make up for it by listening on what they are voting for, but a good amount of them probably only care to vote for the categories they care about and then just fill in the rest like it's a test that they don't study for.
