तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा-
न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही ॥ २२ ॥
vāsāṁsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya
navāni gṛhṇāti naro ’parāṇi
tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇāny
anyāni saṁyāti navāni dehī
As a person puts on new garments, giving up old ones, the soul similarly accepts new material bodies, giving up the old and useless ones.

Hare Krishna. 🙏. Excellent explanation prabhu. While covering the meaning of the sloka, lot of other aspects are covered which clarifies why should we even change bodies. Relation ship between Master & Servant(atma & paramatma) relation, the reason for changing body is the forgetfulness of this relationship. Super soul fulfils the desires of atomic soul by giving the suitable body and as soon as one accept Krishna as master, atomic soul becomes free from this cycle of birth and death. Wonderful analogy on punishment given by judge stops one from doing more sinful activities and also helps them to cleanse their sins so that they don't have to suffer their sins in next life. Hari Hari!!!

HARE KRISHNA PRABHUJI. Here Krishna teaches us that as we wear new clothes after removing old clothes similarly soul enters new body after the death of Old body.Supreme soul as per desires of old body gives new body.

Hare Krishna Prabhuji 🙏 When someone is dying, it's often said that we should chant Hare Krishna in their ears. This is to ensure their journey to next life is better. It's to evoke a desire in the soul to be a devotee in the next life, just before the transference. And thereby help thr soul request the SuperSoul to grant a devotee's life in the next body. Hare Krishna Atma and Paramatma are like fruit eating bird and watching bird. At the same time servant and master. Atma forgets this eternal relationship and desires various things and forgets. Paramatma remembers our desires and rewards us with a suitable new body when we leave the current body. More over one who is killed in the battlefield will be elevated. To avoid newer and newer bodies surrender unto Him like Arjuna did.

Like the way we change our old garments to new, similarly soul gives up old body and takes new body Atma and paramatma are friends Paramatma Is master and Jeeva atma or Automic soul is servant Super soul fulfills each and every desires of Automic individual soul. By the grace of Krishna, we fulfil our desires by taking different bodies. Jeeva soul is struggling very hard on the tree, but as soon as we accept other brid i.e Krishna as our master and abide by his instructions all our sins and lamentation will go away,

Chapter 2 , verse 22 In this chapter Arjuna is telling krishna that if we kill them, we will be the cause for their loss of enjoyment with their bodies that they are having currently. 🔥As we put new garments giving up the old one, similarly our soul will give up the old body and accepts the new body. 🔥From Mundaka upanishad, the soul and super soul are like 2 birds sitting on the same branch of a tree. The soul (jeeb aatma) is eating the fruit and the super soul is witnessing it. Both of them are same in quality, both of them are spirit soul. But one is trying to enjoy the fruit and one is witnessing. In our case, we are the one eating the fruit and krishna in our heart witnessing it.🚩Paraatma and aatma both are friends like krishna and arjuna, but paraatma is always the master and jeevaatma is always a servant. 🔥 The cause of soul to change from one body to another is “forgetfulness of master and servant relationship by the atomic soul is the cause of one’s changing the body from one branch to another”. 🔥Supersoul fulfills the desire of atomic soul as one friend fulfills the desire of another. So depending upon the desires we get the another body. So by the grace of supersoul transmigration of atomic soul from one body to another body happens. 🚩The jeeva soul is struggling very hard with this body, as soon as he accepts the supersoul as another bird i.e as his spiritual master, the subordinated bird gets free from all lamentations. 🔥Hare krishna Hare krishna Krishna krishna hare hare, hare rama hare rama rama rama hare hare🙏🏼🙏🏼

Prabhuji Pranam, In the present and previous texts we are being preached about the stages of changes in the body as 1) Child hood 2) Youth 3) Old age. The soul change the body just like changing the old clothes to new one. The soul changing old body to embrace new body is fully convincing. But we have seen and heard 1) Death of Just breathed born baby 2) Death of Infant 3) Dying before reaching the stage of youth 4) Death before entering middle age. These bodies not changed from stage to stage . Neither Rotten, Deteriorated nor Old. Prabhuji let me know the reason for the soul leaving the body in those initial stages of the life. Why the soul leave these immatured bodies during early stages?

we understand that spirit soul is tiny compared to supreme soul but both are having same quality. Now soul is free from everything. No material desire can captivate soul. It is always there eternal. So how spirit soul become forgetful in nature. How spirit soul is then captivated in material body and desire. Just like in this sloka, sri krishna is watching the spirit soul eating food sitting on the same tree. Here spirit soul is captivated by fruits of material desire. But it is not the nature of soul. Body can have material desire to satisfy the senses. Soul is above everything. But here then how spirit soul which is same in nature as supreme soul become forgetful. Kindly discuss this.

Dandabat pranam prabhuji explanations are nice simple easy to understand by common person but my question is how much time atma takes to enter a new body after leaving the old one secondly does atma enter a new body from the state of fetus ? Hare Krishna 🙏🙏
