Hare Krishna prabuji 🙏 Few points I have understood from today sloka and purpote Bg 2.23 In this sloka Krishna says ♦️The soul can never be cut into pieces by any weapon. ♦️The soul can never be burn by fire. ♦️The soul can never be moistened by water. ♦️And soul can never be withered by the wind. ♦️The soul will remain unchanged and untouched. ✖️Mayavadi's argues that the soul has been cut and seperated from the supreme soul and after breaking the cycle of birth and death, the soul will get liberated and merges back in to the supreme soul. (This is wrong) ✔️ As mentioned in this sloka it is never possible to cut the individual souls from the original Supreme Soul; rather, the individual souls are eternally separated parts of the Supreme Soul. Because they are atomic individual souls eternally(nityam). ♦️In the Varāha Purāṇa, the living entities are described as separated parts and parcels of the Supreme. So, even after being liberated from illusion, the living entity remains a separate identity, as is evident from the teachings of the Lord to Arjuna. Arjuna became liberated by the knowledge received from Kṛṣṇa, but he never became one with Kṛṣṇa.

Chapter 2, sloka 23 In this sloka lord is saying that a soul can never be burnt, can never be cut down or can never be moistened . A soul is a individual and will always remain the same even when it is liberated from the cycle of birth and death. We are just atomic souls and god is the supreme soul. Hare krishna🙏🏼

Hare Krishna It's nice to note that there were high level technology in Vedic time which is revealed by the kind of weapons available in those days. Even with them the soul can't be destructed.. Fire weapon can't burn the soul, water weapon can't moisten the soul, tornado weapons can't wither the soul. Sword can't cut the soul into pieces.

Because they are atomic individual souls eternally they are prone to be covered by the illusory energy, and thus they become separated from the association of the Supreme Lord. A soul is eternal, very small being atomic and beautiful since its connected to the Supreme Soul. But unfortunately Maya overpowers this beautiful soul by building layers and layers of desires and lusts fueled by all the senses that the connection to Supreme Soul becomes strained and weak. We need to overcome Maya and strengthen the connection to Supreme Soul by chanting Hare Krishna mantra.
