Hi Thomas, general comment: Don't start with the wheels turned in when you do a race start. That draws a lot of performance, since the grip of the wheels is shared between side steering and accelerating. (Of course, street conditions might prevent you from doing this.)

So 5000 Euro for a tuning box... A box that give fake signals to the ECU. Almost 100% of the time this boxes don't deliver the promised horsepowers. The money is ridiculous for a tuning box. Go to a good Mercedes tuner which tunes your car direct on the ECU standing on a dyno. So much beter for the reliability and performance.

This is a car that looks best when it's got some stealth. Very few people assume that a wagon is going to have this kind of power. The decals are a distraction.. but they are easily removed by the next owner.

***** They are quite low, around £1.00 (€1.31) per litre for diesel and the cheapest I can find is £0.99, which is quite low but I do many miles a week so I would still end up spending a lot, also it may go back up within the next few months/years and after the supercharged V8 we used to have where it was almost £100 a week, it has completely put me off spending money on bigger engined cars. But the biggest put off for me at least here in the UK are the dealers. They are terrible and I know so many people who have been screwed over by mercedes whilst using the finance and when trying to get in contact with them when there were issues with our car, they were completely useless. Which is a shame because I love the cars and especially the AMGs

+TheVikk with normal petrol cars, put 2 litres on top, almost same with normal diesel cars. With performance cars, but 4 litres on top. Only if you have reasonable naturally aspirated petrol engine cars (like mazda has), the consumption figures are very close to the real deal

Wo ist der grösste Unterschied Deiner Meinung nach bei der Beschleunigung; von 0-100 oder oben rum ? Performmaster sagt 0-100 sind es 0,2 sec weniger im Coupe. Sind Dir Werte 0- 200 oder 100- 200 bekannt ? Im April schicke ich meinen Neuen entweder dahin oder zu B; Preise sind fast gleich.

I concur with you on that, looks awful, dated & completely out of place in an otherwise gorgeous interior of a 2019 car. In here Sweden you can't even drive faster than 120 km/h. Over 150 km/h you lose your driver license for 6 months. Imagine that you have to drive that beast such slow speed? It's killing the entire fun of driving 612HP car and it's definitely not designed for the Swedish autobahn. +gbriank1 If you're talking classic muscle cars, they were produced in the 60's until about mid 1970's before the oil crisis and smog regulation made the manufacturers size down and choke the performance. However, modern muscle cars are still sold as Ford Mustangs, Chevy Camaros and Dodge Challenger (all of which are much faster than the old muscle ).
