Based on Too Much Pressure from this time last year, a short trip to the English Riviera, for a 5 in 1 special. The Paignton and Dartmouth Steam Railway, LNER B1 No. 61306 ‘Mayflower’ with the ‘English Riviera Express’, 7827 Lydham Manor, D6767, D1015 Western Champion & the English Riviera Airshow (or part of it). The normal green timetable was running on the DSR, with 6 return trains, hauled by recently refurbished Dartmouth River Rail resident, No. 7827 Lydham Manor. Filmed on June 1st, it was very windy in places. Some footage does not feature due to poor audio. Nonetheless, shots were taken at:

There was no shortage of whistles in this film, as well as some hill climbs & viaducts.

Are these coaches still operating with slam shut doors or is it only the Mallaig line that gormless civil servants got their teeth into? Otherwise, taking me back to the 60's to when GWR steam hauled me to school through the South Hams - unforgettable! Thank you!

That's on the main line (Network Rail). Heritage railways are exempt. The LSL stock has door locking
