Wasn't it written in a general description in some railway book I can no longer recall - that the B1 class was deemed "suitable for all but the heaviest trains"??? They certainly built enough of them and in the 1950s and early 60s several trains I was on, 'headed' them. However, I do not believe the rather gaudy green here is the best livery for this Mixed Traffic class... GREAT name, however.

@@catman2007 If you click on 'more' in the description you will get the full text and the date of 11August 2024 is shown. However, I now realise this is incorrect as the train ran on 10th August !

​@@briankennedy2196 I had clicked more and saw that date...but surely that date is the date of uploading, not the date the video was made. But thanks for your help. I believe every video should have its made date in the title. Most don't do that.
