61306 Mayflower returns to the Midlands! | ECS move Southall - Kidderminster SVR | 11/9/23

My train left as soon as Maylfower was coming in, I sadly missed it because I’ve. It been told it was coming through Birmingham International. I really hope Mayflower comes through Birmingham International again from Southall this year or next year.

What a shame you missed it! 61306 is most likely to be in the SW a while but when she comes North hopefully you'll be able to see her. Regards, Dan

She spent a season at the Battlefield Line a year or two back. Rode behind her several times that year. My wife's first real experience of steam, and she loved her too. Wish I had known she was so close today would have gone to see her. 👍👍👍👍👍

I've seen this LNER beauty in so many videos on different channels, I get the feeling that almost every other KZbinr wants to see more of her. What is it about Mayflower that makes you all love her so much, and want to capture her at so many locations?

Mayflower is quite a common sight in the South at the moment so she's featured regularly on YT. She's also quite unique being one of the smaller locomotives in operation on the mainline, and her livery is excellent. Regards, Dan

Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed! The 47 and coaches were dropped at Birmingham International. The 47 took the coaches up to Crewe 40 minutes after 61306's departure. Regards, Dan

That makes mayflower like Vulcan and Omaha are newcomers to the Severn valley line as for 41312 this is a first time In 6 years for this engine
