The FORK terminal would be the most correct for this purpose, but in the absence of it this tubular is better than without any...

The 6-6 stands for 6 ridges, 6 sides. The hex one. The 6-4 stands for 6 ridges, 4 sides. The square one. >

There are 3 standards, two German and one French alot of sizes cross over between but then again alot don't. Makes it hard when you need to work out what system the previous person used when working on stuff.

for screw terminals use ring or U crimps.

Do you need to get a square & hex crimper or can you use just a hex? Are there terminals/connectors where a hex would not do & you have to use a square or the other way around?

I was looking to see if there was much of a difference between the 4 teeth vs 6 teeth i have a cheap kit that came with a 4 and i assume the 6 is better and was thinking of ordering one but also i dont think it would make much of a difference

I have never used the Square crimp (4-tooth) but I would imagine its not much different. They are however fairly cheap so why not grab one and see if you like it better.
