I was wondering what the black box was then I realized must be some kind of lock codes for operations.

If you are referring to the black box on the inside of the door that connects to the keypad, I think it is called the keypad interrupter. They tried to briefly explain it to me, it limits keypad access once the loading procedure starts if I remember right. Thanks for sharing.
