Just to be clear: I never say "Dench" and have never heard it but apparently it is used by some people. Also, it's "play a blinder" rather than "pull a blinder".

Hey, luke! Great installment, as always! I didn't knew almost none of them (just the "botched " one). So, I was wondering it must be quite frustrating to record, edit, upload an episode and get a "muted response" (I got this expression from one of your prior episodes) for the listeners. I can't tell if it this the same for the others listeners, but I read somewhere that we should avoid to write in the target language in the beginner level because it could lead to some ingrained wrong concepts (since we don't quite get the sentences structures). What's your thoughts on this? Thanks!

In my country "Colombia" we have an expression similar to "Bob's your uncle" which is "chicken done" (listo el pollo) and surprisingly the expression "cack handed" has it's identical equivalent as " mani-cagado or mani-cagada depending if it's a man or woman.

Hello Luke, I was listening to this podcast when my daughter came back from school, she is 5 years old, and I realized that you were using some bad language, which she could understand because she is bilingual, although she never heard these words or knew the meaning of them, so I have to explain a bit about the topic. I understand now why your podcast was blocked when I had on my restriction mode on. By the way, I am not complaining, I just wanted to my anecdote :)
