I admire your daughter for taking the intiative to try and repair her dryer. It really is a good thing to try and do because they're fairly simple machines, the parts are not that expensive and they're available, and it's much cheaper to repair one than replace it, and you can make them pretty much as good as new.

oversize loads get the day before and after shut down, five day holiday for oversize, best five day I ever had was in Texas, some guy saw me down in the dump and asked me to come to his ranch for the weekend, I've always seem weary of that kind of invite, he had a car pick me up, the driver asked how long I had known Willie, long story short it was Willy Nelson, great party, I had heard him on the Gran Ole Opry, that was the best five day holiday I ever had, wife was not happy. pull toy here

you should see LA traffic after a 4 day weekend. if you're not in a rush to make a delivery or pickup in the LA area, its best to stop at the Pilot truck stop "before" going down the Cajoun Pass. the Sunday traffic could be backed up all the way to Las Vegas and they just finished an 8 lane highway

Hi Dan, glad you at least got off the road for Thanksgiving. Hope the next few weeks go well for you and you get to go home for a well-earned break. What do truckers in the US call those little clearance lights on a stalk, mounted at the end of the front bumper? The one you had to screw back on? In Japan, they are known as Kōnāpōru (which if you look at it carefully is the Japanese way to spell and pronounce "corner pole". I drove a car or small USAF trucks in Tokyo for three years and boy, if you don't have Kōnāpōru on your vehicle you have a really, really tough time getting close enough to obstructions with your front vehicle corner to get the rear end of your vehicle around the turn. I sometimes wish I had them on my little Toyota here in Florida, but there is always so much room to drive here it's easy to get by without them. Brought back some pleasant (and unpleasant... Tokyo traffic jams ... memories). Stay safe and keep your Kōnāpōru lit up my friend.
