When I was litco tuned I also had a dsg issue similar place to you, not sure if it’s a bug in there dsg software maybe the engine and gearbox limiters need a adjusting to suit each other

I know it takes a while to build boost but on a roll race if you're in lower gear aren't you in boost anyway ? Why is there still a delay ? I haven't driven a big turbo car before.

So from what i gather the cupra is jumping from third to fifth so the stock gearbox is not dealing with the power to well. Ricky mentioned possibly one of the clutches of the dsg overheating but I’m no expert so there will probably be someone to correct me. That coupled with it being a fwd means its just going to struggle on a roll race more so than the rwd 140 or even worse against an awd equivalent like a golf r or s3. Once the guy sorts out the issues with it skipping gears it should reflect the power difference more though

The Cupra is impressive for sure, but you gotta think that the BMW only has some light mods and a tune. If you did all same the mods that the Cupra has but on the M140, fully built motor, turbo upgrade, etc., it'd be a totally different outcome

For how much the seat has had spent to go past a m140i isnt worth it in my opinion. Also how reliable is that seat going to be, I'm currently in an m140i and at stock level of power it's a blast to drive. Compared to my golf r I had and a fiesta st stage 3 tuned.

Tbh when I got in the bmw I thought the fiesta felt quicker, however i wanted something abit more tunable and nicer place to sit. The golf r was fun but expensive to modify and like i said just boring, no driver skill required and didnt give that fun feeling like the bmw 140i does.
