No cheesy music, no slick cuts to drone views, no narrator standing in front of the camera blocking the view, no confusing edits, just a straight forward walk-through with narration from behind the camera. Yes, an Aquaholic tour of a very nice catamaran! I don't know why but somehow I just really love the concept of these things. This one especially is a beauty because of the very spacious cabins for both guests and owner. The few caramarans I've had the pleasure to look at myself so far have all been rather cramped in the hulls. The only thing I'd be missing if I'd go out with this boat for a few months (hey, one can dream) would be a washing machine unless you'd want to find a harbour every time you want to do your laundry :) Oh, and the helm might be a tad exposed if you where to sail in a bit rougher weather. Really loved the tour, as always. The thing that sets an aquaholic tour apart from most (if not all) other yacht tours you'll find on youtube is Nicks uncanny eye for the practical details of each yacht. He'll show the flashy stuff of course, but it's not just some voiceover and a bit of music while somebody is carrying a camera through the most spectacular parts of the boat. You can see this man loves boats, the sea and actually using the things he's kindly showing us. Thank you Nick, you manage to bring a smile on my face every time you upload a video, no matter how bad a day I'm having!

Sailing, where range is governed by food stores not fuel reserves. Catamaran floor plans are always tempting but offer little privacy and only the illusion of space. There's alot of connected areas, you can see the whole boat from almost everywhere in or on this boat. Good for parties, not so good for everyday life, everyone needs time alone. I think this is a young person's boat. It's nice, but also a bit vanilla. Not the sort of craft I'd probably go for but I have been on one about 10 years in the Caribbean,only one of those snorkelling, cocktail drinking day trips. In that environment they are a beautifully comfortable ride and as you say the space on board is something else. Enjoyed that brought back some good memories,thanks.

Thanks again Nick. Now that was an interior I liked. I would class it as understated luxury. The floors not carpeted is a bonus as well. Red wine spills...not a problem. The space was amazing creating a super comfortable boat. The locker at the bow ideal for spare sheets and sails. I have no clue about working the uppy downy flippy-flappy things, but they look nice.

As far as the plastic fantastics go, I think Leopard is the best of the lot, but maybe Lagoon's quality has improved in the last few years. Still, if I were going for a sailing cat, it wouldn't be any of the slow, pondering luxury cruisers, it would be one of the performance cruisers, like Outremer, or Catana.

If I ever wind up with a boat with any kind of accommodations at all (no matter small), if it has a bed, washer, wet-head and stove I'm moving in permanently. It has to be better than the $850 (plus utilities) a month I pay in rent on my house. Being a certified pharmacy technician I can pretty much get a job anywhere in the United States. I'm pretty sure that there are pharmacies near marinas. Plus, with the money I save I could work my way up to a bigger boat... More specifically a Dutch steel passagemaker like the Canicher.

I cant wait to you do an 80 footer because I've seen other channels do the new electric Cat but they do a terrible job of it and its hard to imagine how its laid out because it looks like they teleport around. That guy is working on the mast of the sailboat at 15:00 in the background Ive done that before myself because I used to work on yachts and its not fun you have to have a guy hoist you up there and the sailboat rocks like crazy.

@ AQUAHOLIC Be aware from sailing boat my friend! In particular racing boats! Sailing boats are dangerous matters! You'll not talk to an audience of normal human being. It's not the question of what brand is better for the appliances in the galley or number of horsepower! Raw regatta sailors are snooty and crazy pirates and philosophers of sea, weather, innovative materials, weights. They know everything and they actually teach to Poseidon how to manage the sea!! (Only fisher and hunters are better!!). Staying with them is like staying with a biker gang: always pay attention to what you say. It's never a frugal conversation if you are talking about sailing!! ...... ..... .... So I'm glad that you just presented a displacement motorboat with an additional mast and some fabric for stability .... yes, someone call them catamarans to define them in the family of the motorboats!!!!! A catamaran is the perfect solution if the doctor tells to a sailor to avoid sailing!! That's why also in America's Cup we're coming back to monohulls! Sailors didn't understood last edition with motorboats and cyclists instead sailboats and sailors!!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Regards Cpt Hook! For a production Cat, the lagoons are indeed quite nice. For serious blue water cruising I wouldn’t want the fly bridge model like this, as there will be times you need better protection. Some don’t like the “ikea” quality woodwork, but these boats tend to stand the test of time better than you might think. A lagoon wouldn’t be my first choice as a cruising Cat, but they are definitely on the list. Thank you Nick, and I hope you will cover more Cats as you get opportunities to do so.
