Stephen Reill proof? Give me one modern fossil reconstruction with a Rex dragging its tail. Dinosaurs were related to birds, not lizards
@stegosaurus54616 жыл бұрын
+Stephen Reill Dinosaurs didn't drag their tails. Their tail vertebrae showed they were held rigid, plus dinosaur trackways don't show tail dragging. Stop perpetrating old, outdated myths.
@internetmemder6 жыл бұрын
Last time I checked, Dinosaurs are reptiles (the word dinosaur literally translates to "terrible lizards") and as far as all possible evidence suggests, every reptile on earth drags its tail when it walks. If the dinosaurs didn't drag their tails, they'd have no balance when walking and would've fell overhead all the time. The tail dragging was to balance their weight and they could not have been held "rigid" ask any paleontologist.
@ttttt57176 жыл бұрын
Stephen Reill ask any paleontologist if there birds or reptiles. Also when they were first discovered People thought they were lizards that’s why there named that. Now we know they’re not.

I really like this. We all say outdated, and that is certainly true. However, no one uses the Ray Harryhausen-esque style anymore, and it is genius to show it off right here. Ray Harryhausen was a great man. This is to show all respect towards his incredible legacy, one that may not be anatomically accurate, but one that is certainly memorable for all eternity. Rest in Peace, Ray Harryhausen. 1920 - 2013
@anissavalenzuela916 жыл бұрын
He really was a technical genius. I've always loved Ray and his numerous works. Stop-motion was actually really cool to watch and just has that authentic feeling to that CGI most of the time lacks. To me, stuff like this makes like, Jurassic Park in particular all that more amazing. For a Hollywood film to show these animals with that level of detail and to be pretty scientifically accurate for the time, just shows how kind of unprecedented the effects for, and that film itself was.
@Titan52berg6 жыл бұрын
There is an aura of magic in the 'forced' technique of stop-motion creatures! It seems as though it is how we all wish these animals really moved! Somehow, the dinosaurs seem more fantastic using the process that Willis O'Brien, Ray Harryhausen, Jim Danforth, Wah Chang, Gene Warren and Tim Barr helped to popularize in many of these films of fantasy! Without them, would we have ever seen the likes of Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Nightmare Before Christmas and many other recent epic movies?

Superior stop motion work. It's nice to see this these days considering I wanted to do this for a living at one point and got quite good at it....but then CGI dashed my dreams on the rocky shores of reality.

Don't let it. You can still do it if you want to.

@@Mac14329 Oh. I kinda still do. I animated my wife's body pillow so that it crawled like an inch worm across the bedroom floor. When she saw it she said, 'Wow! You really are good at that'.

OMG! That was amazing! Awesome stop motion effects Education about prehistoric life Good dialogue (dinoes are not reptiles, narration almost has no energy) Classical music It's also funny 4 out of 5

Kyle Vansteelandt Dinosaurs like Maiasaura probably did this thing. No recent evidence is find on Hadrosaurs like Edmontosaurus, Parasaurolophus or Maiasaura

Right when I finished reading the comment the ortomimus got impaled and after that scene the only thing that was going through my head is “it’s also funny”
