My whole family had boats at the marina just below the Viking factory. I remember the wooden ones back in the 60's with the Viking symbol on either side of the hull forward. They were beautiful back then. I also remember bieing at the same marina when I grew older and had my own boat. I'd stare in awe as I'd watch them blast by me on a sea trial as I fished in Great Bay. Magnificient boats.

"You Never Know" is a 72 F&S. This is the old boat sold with a blank transom. It was a nice boat and I got couple videos on it. But, the new boat is much better. There is no comparison. It is better in every category.

You mau be surprised. Fishing boat into ebay or yachtworld.com and set your price to top out at 30k. You may just be surprised what size boat you can get for that. Thats assuming you are like most Americans and can afford a car payment. It will not be brand new but 10 years young will get you 70%+ off of new. Now if you are a baller and can swing $1000 a month (meaning no car payments & maybe a cheap house note) then a 60, 70 or even 80 footer can be had. That 1k is payment, taxes, maintnance, slip (in some places) but no crew. But hey we are men, don't need no stinkinh crew.

all of you shut up they are made to be fishing boats with fishing chairs in the cockpit and not tables and my 61 viking will do as much and or better than another sport fisher out there
