I totally and completely agree with you…whenever I spin my canvases, I always spin in both directions to prevent the paint from being pulled and elongated in one direction only. When I go in the other direction, it balances it out and keeps the cells in correct form/shape. There are several big name artists that spin in both directions evenly…and some that don’t. Completely up to you and your preference. I’ve noticed that the sides look better and run over more smoothly when spun in both directions and I’m super particular about that, like you! Beautiful painting!!😍

Beautiful colours. If you want to get the blooms more centred, try putting them down in opposite corners, first one then .spin one lightly then do the other.one. Lisa from Harmony hHouse Art did that in her video 610 and it was so beautiful. It was a square canvas but the same works on a rectangle. She also put down 7 different colurs in small puddles around a centre of gold over which she put down black cell activator.. many ways to do blooms. It worked for me but my base cracked. El cheapo paint. Just for practise. But still a pity as the colours were perfect.

Kanella your canvas keeps slipping a little when you spin. If you put some paint under the edges near the middle it will create a suction and your canvas won’t move no matter how hard you spin your canvas/spinner. I don’t know if it will work with the lolivefe mat but it works with plastic wrap

I wasn't going to say anything because I feel like maybe you probably already know, but gravity will pull the paint the other way you want it to go by moving your canvas by moving it up or down. It depends on the way it sits and the way you want it to go. Some people in the chats might know what I'm talking about. I've seen shelee do it too and ppl who do this technique.

Kanella my husband looked over my shoulder and seen the laser cutter and he was like, “Oh Man you see babe that’s what I’m talking about!!” For the past couple of years it’s all he talked about! He would say, “Babe when I retire from the Army I’m going to get one!” He retired 6/30/23 after almost 21 years AD and we bought a house with a large metal building on the property. It’s a 40 x 60. However 2/3’s of it was insulated and turned into a craft room with a split, bathroom, and one whole side is full of countertops with a sink. (MY ROOM) He said the other side is for my laser cutter, until…… he seen the prices! (He’s a cheapskate) I think he was in total shock so now I use part of it for my overflow of canvases! One day God willing he will get one!!
