Today I finished installing all the culverts down at my moms, I used the RK 55 Compact Tractor and a Rented Bobcat E85 Excavator, All thats left to do now is spread a triaxle load of 2a limestone, Then in the spring I will dress things up and maybe add some rip rap

SOUTHERN INDIANA HERE…Yes, getting ready to play golf on Xmas Eve day. Go figure…then off to San Diego to visit my grandsons (1 1/2 and 3). My son is with the Marine Corp. Works on F-18’s. He just got done with a 6 month tour of Falan, Nevada where they train Top Gun pilots. Before leaving, all the Top Gun instructors gave my son a great picture of an F-18 with all of there signatures. He is Gunny Sargent and knows how to fix these jets. So proud of our son.

We live on the side of a hill so water is always a problem. Where you have water flowing along the side of the road etc put a pile of gabion stones. Velocity is you enemy and causes erosion but the stones slow it down and break up the flow.

So Mike you do need a little bobcat like that around just think how good that would be for getting the logs out of the woods and all that kind of stuff smooth up the woodyard perfect you need one bad. You wouldn’t have to cut trees down you could just walk up to them and push them over

Nice culvert work. Makes my cleaning the Weber Smokey Mountain, WSM, and placing netting over our small back yard pond look pitiful. Enjoyed the Christmas Carols on the video. Please keep us updated on Hunters firewood sale. I use oak and cherry for some of my BBQ cooks. I prefer chunks but I do burn down firewood into coals and shovel them into the WSM when I am doing a traditional South Carolina style pork butt.
