Perfect example of lazy writing in modern movies. Super-advanced civilization capable of exploring the galaxy, but people's quality of medical care are still attached to how much salary they make? You'd literally have to pilot your ship into something like the rings of Saturn to get that much debris to contend with....so I guess the A.I. autopilot is exceptionally stupid or they haven't developed radar or collision avoidance systems yet? So on etc... It's one of the reasons why I find many if not most movies churned out nowadays to be annoying and subpar under the heavily applied layers of VFX and CGI they're coated under. I'll be sure to skip this one, thanks.
