Excellent runs! That was a longgggg slide!!!🤣 65 is great! I wonder if you ran a little hotter LIPO if you could pick up a couple more mph? IDK, that is a pretty beefy LIPO... might not be much left on the table with the amps you are drawing. I guess you could also try running a better battery connector.

@@BriansRCStuff ya I thought about that but I wanted to run this particular Thunder with the stock connector, basically as delivered from LAEGENDARY except the ESC and Pinion. I'm sure it might pick up a mph or 2 with a little hotter battery and connector but that ToRCone battery is a hoss. Yes sir, that was definitely a record slide lol, which is why I keep that old body shell 😅🤣 Thanks for watching brother

Hey there, i noticed you have those wide road tires on it, i think i got the same off aliexpress, do they rub on the hubs/arms for you? I ended up getting wider hex to be able to run them, only used them a couple of times cause i broke the rear diff, got a different set of tires later.

I have another question, what are the specs when shopping for new pinion gears? 😂😂 I have ordered like 3 different times and they never fit, im no expert (obviously) when it comes to gear tooth pitch, please let me know, i might be interested in upping the speed of mine a bit, thanks, keep up the good work.

@@RCrepairAndBuilds how you doing? Time to get new parts, lol, what are your preferences for spur and pinion? I bought a metal spur but once the mesh isnt perfect eats the pinion like nothing, just this weekend it ripped most of the tooth from the pinion in a couple of minutes on dirt, before, i was running a plastic spur which lasted a few runs but ended up being trashed anyway, i have 2 new plastic spurs and 1 new stock pinion. Question is...do you recommend going for a new steel spur and replace aluminum pinions from time to time which are cheaper, or going metal pinion and replace plastic spurs from time to time? Pinion are like 50% cheaper, different sizes too, like the ones you shared, i can pick whichever size i want from aliexpress or the set off amazon, what would you recommend? Truth be told, i didnt adjust mesh last time i installed the metal spur and it wasnt in great shape either from previous usage, this one costs like 3 times what a plastic spur does.
