You can date whoever you want, do whatever you want (in the limits of the law), and feel like you're not restricted. Why take that away at 12? When I was 12, I was dreaming of some hot famous dude, not a 50 year old. If you think you're going to get a 12 year old who's not special needs to willfully marry someone as old as their grandpa, you need a reality check. If parents are doing this without the child's consent, they need a life or a death sentence. Absolutely disgusting.
