I believe they are just selling tuning kits in Europe or abroad for the Camaro. However John McIntyre and Simon Gilbertson are still racing this car I believe. Not sure, on their home page it seemed that the car was competitive in 2016. It may still be running in the ADAC GT Masters. Tulloch Motorsport?

8L Racing Engine is pretty epic, sounded like it had monster torque! those 'S-corners' it sounded like it was in a higher gear than most other cars and just pulled so hard out of the corners :)

Although I enjoyed the video greatly what was most surprising is the generally positive comments from the viewers. Typically an American car garners hatred, especially on a channel (such as this one) that typically shows mostly Euro cars. Great to see so many open minded car lovers!

You're making the mistake of believing what people say on the internet :P That's not a fair judgement. Also I've noticed that people have generally gone along with the Top Gear bandwagon and believe the whole 'hurr american cars suck' thing because Clarkson told them to. I love Clarkson but whenever they bring up American cars I roll my eyes as I know exactly how it's gonna go...for example the Mustang vs train race a few series ago. It's like he physically couldn't bring himself to say a good word about the Mustang, even though it was an amazing car...but no hurr make jokes about fuel mileage hurrr can't turn corners hurrr, even Hammond was joining in slagging them off and he's got one! Anyway, rant aside, I think that explains why there's a negative perception of american cars. I'm a Brit and I've loved them since I was about 9 years old! :)

TeamBombersports UK It's not really a matter of believing what's said as just seeing what's said and having seen it far too often. I get what you're saying about Top Gear though. Clarkson is very pro Euro and very much a flag waver for his own country's cars. And let's face it, English cars have never really been known for their reliability. But I love cars and I love the English ones as well. Jags are beautiful, Lotus are staggeringly quick and nimble, Range Rover is an impressive off-road vehicle, and Reliant Robins... well I dunno WHAT was going through that designer's mind... heh. Every country has cars that are gems and those that are jokes. I try to keep an open mind about all things. But so often I see only the close minded making blanket statements and refusing to see any points other than their own. That saddens me, it really does. So seeing so many discuss what I've seen so often dismissed and belittled actually gives me a bit of hope. I thank these commenters and you for that.

The Purpose to build this car was the Price. German GT3 Cars cost over 300-400'000 Euros. Absolutely horrible. The Sareni Camaro was under 200'000 Euros, so Racing Teams with lower Budget can buy this car. Ok, it's a little bit slower than german cars, but you become a lot of car for your money. Only the Cabin is original Camaro, everything else are Racing Parts.

belgian-motorsport it's a GT3 racecar, it'll be capable, because the rules on what you can and cannot have is all based on retaliative performance, hence why the Z4 has a completely different engine and the bentley continental has tubular chassis in places where others don't.

Very impressive! ... but as good as this car is, it seems like it had a fair amount of body role in the turns. seems like if the suspension was a little stiffer is would handle turns better ... or am I missing something?

You're missing something. All the GT3 cars have basically the same suspension and all kinda handle equally well. Stiffening the suspension isn't always the best thing to do since your car loses the ability to handle small bumps in quick succession if too stiff
