My dog and I used to stop at Little America back in the 90's. We would get a whole chicken rotisserie and set out in the truck and share it. I would pick her part so as not to give her bones. Back then they remodeled the fuel stop and put in very nice showers. I'd go to California back then and bounce back to Burlington Iowa to get another load. Would bill the company for my trip out and back. They paid well until after 9-11 then I dropped them. I surely don't miss the road. I get enough trucking riding along with you. Be safe.

Seems to me other drivers & truckers get along better in other parts of the country then they do here in the Chicago land area I am retired on disability at 57 due to illness I was a local semi Cartage driver in Chicago Chicago motorists are unique that’s all I’m going to say have safe trip home Dan

Back in the 1980's I used to pass by Little America after crossing the mountains at night. Hauling potatoes back to Frito-lay in Dallas. Never stopped there but want to go back some day with my wife.

Nice editing. I never saw downtown Cheyenne & also haven't stopped at Little America since 1997 (I was with my trainer). By myself - I have averaged 68 in a 65 mph truck - across WY.

Desolate out there, still snow in April...with all the crazy things going on in the world its sure nice being in your comfort zone seeing how beautiful America is.. kind of gives you some satisfaction and hope for a better tomorrow. there is an intersection in Boise where they teach you, in driving school, how to do a buttonhook right turn and the instructors always tell you to watch the right mirror to make sure no cars try to sneak up on your right side. also you have to make the turn without the trailer tires riding up on the curb. they tell you to picture in your mind a person hanging their toes over the curb and you have to make sure you dont run over them.

I was stationed at F.E. Warren AFB there but left in 1990. Great town but the winters were BRUTAL. Beautiful scenery and lots of places to go but the outdoor season was really short.

Hey Dan, the other Little America is in Flagstaff. Same architecture of the hotel, same owner back in the early 70's put both in at the same time. It was a big deal in Flag when I was a kid.

It is a place with name recognition - seems they need to have someone in their marketing department do a better job of getting tourists in - I have seen wakes with more energy then that place
