@@richardpuckett8127 As Justin said, Alesis tried that with the DM dock. But tablet software wasn't up to task back then. Latency was huge with that thing and they sounds weren't even that rich in layers. But with the M1 chips now in iPads, I think they'd fair better if they tried again. The risk being is that tablet/computer tech moves so fast, something modern within 3 years might be lacking.

EXCELLENT VIDEO . Direct and to the point. Moves quickly but doesn’t skimp on important info. Drummer to drummer you talked about nearly exactly what the drummer wants to know, with no filler. You showed the sounds and the hardware clearly and straight on. Again, just the way a drummer would want to see it. After watching more that TEN videos about eDrums at this price point, it was THIS video that showed me CLEARLY why this is the one that I would prefer. Enough for me to open a browser window and pull the trigger on a set of the Simmons immediately, and without hardly any worry at all. 😎👍👍

I have the Simmons SD600. I hate the module. Looks like the Titan module is better. No matter, I ditched the Simmons module for a Roland TD17. What an improvement. Everything works fine except I had to get a Roland hi hat cymbal and pedal to be able to open and close the hi hat. One other thing is that I had to rig something to mount the Roland module to the Simmons rack. Some thing I find annoying about Simmons is that my almost twice expensive SD600 kit only came with a single zone ride. I plan on replacing that with a Lemon triple zone ride.

I tried out the Titan at a GC yesterday. One thing that I noticed was when I hit the ride cymbal or open hi-hat and let it ring, that ringing immediately stopped or went way down in volume when I hit the bass drum pad, and possibly also happened when I hit the snare. Almost as if there was a polyphony issue like what you'd find with cheap or older keyboards. The cymbals and hi-hat didn't seem as loud when I played a beat vs. just hitting them alone. I asked the salesperson about this, and he said maybe the module just needed some configuration adjustments. Your review didn't mention this problem, nor did I hear it in the sound samples, so maybe the unit you tried didn't have this issue. The speaker I was playing through was also set on a low volume, so I don't know if this was part of the problem.

I can only seem to get my input as a single track ( whether it be through audio cable or usb) and can't figure out how to, 1. Have every pad be a different track And 2. Make it so my playback sounds are samples or sounds from fl studios and not the built in sounds from the titan. Or is what I'm trying to do only able through midi cable? Also have a scarlet 2i2 to run midi just don't have any cables that could go from a 5 prong to a 3 prong. So I've only been able to try using a normal quarter inch audio cable or the USB cable so far. Not sure if this is the best place to ask but I'm new to all this so if anyone has any info or tips it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
