What is his placing to do with something ? He is one of the most respected man in BB. The question is, what is your highest place in competitions ?
@grahamgreene779 Жыл бұрын
@@keitkoppel2754 If you listened to the conversation Milo mentioned it while talking with Jay. He was being self-deprecating. I'll see if I can get a timestamp if you're interested in hearing it. 3:39 "The highest I ever placed was 10, I was lucky to be 10th" - Milo I was simply responding to Milo's humility, i.e., "Yes, Milo, your highest Olympia placing might have been 10th, but but what an incredible, world class physique - the definition of aesthetic." i Hope that helps and I have no idea what my competition history (none) has to do with paying Milo a compliment - he truly did have a world class physique. Also, noting that someone was the 10th best bodybuilder in the world for a certain year is hardly an insult, although again, Milo was being self-effacing as he was talking with Jay Cutler - a multi-time Olympia winner.

Was cool to hear about the most dominant Olympia showings in your guys eyes. Would be interested to know your thoughts on the most dominant Olympia runs, back to back titles over a number of years and who did that in the best fashion. I’m unfortunately too young to have seen Dorian in his prime but the way Milo’s talks about him makes me interested. I imagine he would have been so dominant until the end of his rain when it was controversial. I know he doesn’t live in the same country but when the opportunity presents itself please try to get Dorian on, as you said yourself when you were coming up he was the dominant one in the sport.

I agree with Milos on judges can't judge 6 guys at once. Why...because when it comes to comparing 2-,3 look how hard they have to look posing over and over. IF it's that hard to judge those, HTH are they judging 30-40-50-60 athletes up there. They aren't.
@arcticreviews Жыл бұрын
Kevin’s posing routine for the 2000 Mr Olympia is what we’re missing in todays bodybuilding. I get goosebumps every time I watch tht routine. Milo’s is not saying the posing has to be scored it’s the bodybuilder himself that should present HIS body to the people regarding his strengths.
@AScaryOrange123 Жыл бұрын
No. He is saying it should be scored. Why would any bodybuilder put in the time to make a really impressive posing routine that has no effect on his placing? By scoring the posing routine you're encouraging guys to make an effort.
@arcticreviews Жыл бұрын
@@AScaryOrange123 no that doesn’t make sense so cause Samson out poses nick walker does that mean Samson should win? It’s still judging the physique not how spectacular a routine is.

The example of posing where beard guy is saying the guys transitions aren't as good but his posing is perfect is so stupid. Take an ice skater for example. When they do their big tricks & land them the judges take note. The judges also take note if they fall on their arse or not after they transition out of their move. Every element of their routine is scrutinized. As a body builder you're on show from the time you walk out from behind the curtain until the time you go back behind it. I swear he plays devil's advocate because he doesn't like agreeing with Milos
@BENCHIPED Жыл бұрын
This posing topic for the pros is such and easy fix for the IFBB. All they have to do is add a posing round where it's only judged on entertainment. Have simple judging where just for the posing round it's 1 point for excellent. 2 points for Good. 3 points for average. Lower the points the better. Have this simple system in place for the posing round and competitors will have a reason to work on their routines. And although the posing round still might change the outcome of a show where it's just a 1 point difference, in most cases it will not change the outcome of a show. Guys won't be able to move up from 4th place to first just on posing alone and that's a good thing. There's no reason not to have some sort of judging on the posing as an entertainment value. And they can do so without causing guys to win who shouldn't win. If some guys in second place by one point in his posing is gets an excellent score to a guy who's winning who gets an average score, the second-place guy will win. And no one's going to have a problem with that because they're so close anyways physique wise. And you better believe if somebody ever loses a show because his posing sucks, he's going to want to fix that. And that will make the IFBB product that much better for the paying customer. Which can only be a good thing to help grow the "sport"...
