still late to your channel but leave them alone. repurposing a meat tenderizer for a foot peddle is pretty awesome gives me future ideas for some of my stuff. aside from that all the support you put into your clutch/master cylinder mount I think was enough without the extra skin maybe you could have temporarily mounted things and tested but I assure you you mount will not fail with the extra skin put on it. I just know weight is always a concern in drag cars. the tinsel strength in mild steel is 250 ish and chromoly is 500 ish MPa but chromoly is $$$ so I get it budget is always the deciding factor. also your vertical weld uphill much harder than vertical down hill and yours looked awesome. also twice as strong. awesome awesome work. i guess late comments are better than none!
