Have not been happy with the decision to use a pre-bent cage from Jegs. The fitment has been great but the material is so dirty, I can only MIG this tubing. However all in all it saved tremendous time but I doubt I will go with another pre-bent again.

This is awesome! I’ve got my 66 all tore apart now paining and rebuilding it. I want to cage mine but I don’t know what “kit” to buy to start with

Thank you! To be honest you can find a few pre-bent mild steel cages for your Fairlane. However the mild steel is not DOM tubing and is usually pretty dirty. Really just means have to use a MIG welder instead of a TIG and clean your weld areas very good.

Unfortunately the original FE we built for this car is tied up with the original owners ex-wife. The current owner hopes to get that block back, for now we are using a SBC he has. Thank you for watching 💪🏻

oh i see , . u want it to be slow and safe so nobody can get hurt , thus the chevy motor . U only need those big tires for ford motors .
