😲 wow, love the maximum effort on the sound deadening there, and mad props for rehabbing the wheel houses, instead paying good money for poorly fitting crappy ones, then spending ridiculous labor to rework them.. Love the channel...

Thank you. I really appreciate it. I really didn't need that much deadening material but I had it in hand and it was while I'm here... Yeah the repro wheel houses are pretty bad for most all cars. I really think they just make one or two different ones and they just say it fits your car. When it's 1" or more off in just one dimension there is something is definitely not right.. I am really appreciative to my friend that saved that lower part for me on the drivers side from his car. That was far easier than rebuilding it like I did on the pass side.

Unfortunately it made it all the way across to the other side hence me still having the video to show for it... :) Hope get it permanently in place and start welding tomorrow afternoon. I'm full of all sorts of tips some good some meh...

Great Video! You sold me on the sound deadener. But I'm a little fuzzy on how you "Really Feel" about that Go-Pro camera?!? or should I call it a Frisbie? Well Done!

It's right up there with flat headed screws on the list of things that annoy me. :) I use the generic 80 mil deadener sold on Amazon. Pick a brand as they are all the same butyl based stuff same size same box from the same factory. One of these days if I get big enough I'll do the amazon think with links but only of stuff that I buy and use.

What model gopro do you recommend for lake skipping? I prefer bass for sounds.

Well this one is a 7 black and it was more of a screech across the water so maybe the 8 would have better Bass. :)

Deadner? Its metal snd and it isnt complete. Dont hit on your fender. The other sounds like 1/2 of bondo.

Yup sound deadener makes for a far quieter car. And easy to put in while the quarter is off. Nearly impossible later. The factory used a spray on material similar to 3m shutz
