Yessss, slow burn... It's like as you are faced with the facts... You have no choice but to take on the painful truth that you have to let go of somebody you loved because they are abusive and not going to change.

Thank you for helping educate society about Narcissistic Abuse with the GOAT, Dr. Ramani. Spreading the word is key to avoiding these types of people!

Another way a narc controls time is how the time is spent is what the narc wants all the time. Most of the time its fun so you dont mind but they dont like to go out of their way for you or if the help you ask for won't garner up any supply or its not image worthy. They will be late for any activity or event thats important to you. They will include you in their life enough to make you think you're a part of it but if you observe they pick and choose where they want you placed like a game piece.

I noticed the narc began to just "keep me around" while they did things in their house. I got confused like, why am I here? Why did you invite me over to ignore me while you're clearly busy? I eventually just ghosted and never talked to them again. It was so weird and I have no desire to argue or explain their BS to them.

Just amazing listening to Dr. Ramani go through the list... I was told when I would talk about my problems that I was "dumping on him" that he is not my dumpster… when I had a list of stuff I had written out to talk about (because that's the way he would talk about stuff only if I wrote it out first) said it sounded like I was giving myself a pity party.... I'm really trying to forgive myself still for lowering my standard So so far below what I knew I wanted and what I knew I needed and kept asking for but kept getting denied...so ridiculous. I would keep trying and trying, but he played on that too and told me every time I would break up with him that I just gave up and that's why I was divorced twice. I would remind him that he had never been married so at least I had tried... One of the moments I would actually stand up for myself... But I was told to "stop trying to wear the pants in the relationship" ..UGH. I cringe when I think back to some of these things that I would walk away from so fast now.. Freaking Neglectful lazy d-bag.

There is no such thing as unconscious behavior at a narcissist! They know exactly what they’re doing all the time! How to know that? When they behave different between people and situations!

I became aware in 2010 🤷🏿♀️ they were trolling me on twitter about my privacy with taunting posts about having dirty feet then over 10 years later tried the same thing on ig & got called out for it 🤷🏿♀️ I have no regrets for not dealing with people who insult me. Idc what A list celeb they run to for help or what D list celeb they use to mimic me ✌🏿the broke Ravarieres are nothing but opportunists who are bitter because they dropped out of college & didn’t get the American Dream
@vodkavuitton4 ай бұрын
Actually no I lied 😢 I became aware in 2013 after I had both my kids & moved to NY. Btw I was struggling while they were hacking my phones & making posts on ig about me having dirty feet & being a single mom. Ironically Tankhead tells a fake story about Rihanna recording in his studio with dirty feet then ironically again Akil Ravariere makes a post behind Justin LA blog about washing dirty feet before getting in his bed 🤷🏿♀️ like I said they are broke opportunists who dropped out of college & refused to make an honest living for themselves. They are complete weirdos who anyone should stay away from & nobody better not ever come around playing in my face again on their behalf & attaching my life story to them. Idgaf who they ran to so they could clout chase ✌🏿 ISWIS & there’s no insult you could say about me that would hit harder than being an obsessed delusional stalker

Have you ever seen someone oscillate between vulnerable and grandiose or malignant and also display traits from the other categories because that's what I'm finding as you describe them... Vulnerable neglectful, grandiose. And. Self-righteous for sure. I see traits from all of them in my ex.

I would like to hear more about Dr R. take on The Gottman method and narcissism
@AM-jw2kq9 ай бұрын
Dr Ramani has brushed on that topic in her videos and podcast episodes. How I've come to understand it is that "normal" or healthy ways of communicating and solving problems do not work in relationships where there's narcissistic abuse.. Narcissists don't see a need to change their ways.
@NUCLEARMAMA13138 ай бұрын
It's interesting.You said sometimes we stay in a relationship for safety.I'm curious what you mean by that... Because I personally experienced the feeling of being unsafe once I left the relationship which is what led to me running back several times... I felt like he was the only one I was safe with-- which is so ridiculous when he was the 1 abusing & manipulating me.

Can you make a video about people who don’t move on & drag out the dumbest most irrelevant things? Say example a woman compliments a man then over time he abuses her consistently to change her outlook on him totally so he tries to remind her of an outdated compliment to spark some feelings of guilt or empathy 🤔 what do you call this absurd behavior? Please note it doesn’t just happen in romantic relationships either
