Looks like you need to move the steering box forward to move the axle. Could do relocate plates for 1inch.Are you running 84-88 rears up front already? Those have the shortest distance from the front bolt to center pin.

Not for sure how exactly he did it and what his specs were, but I’m pretty sure my uncle heated the bottom of his fenders with a torch and rolled them inward slightly. He has an 80 something SR5 he did it on.

I moved my 85's axle forward 2" and still my left front 35" tire hits the firewall/inner fender and even worse now that I put a new 4wd fender on instead of the chewed up but, cheap 2wd eBay fender I had on there, oh well.

Cut that front spring hanger off and push it forward a few inches. Use third gen rear springs up front. That should keep the tire out of the fender well.
