The steering is a ball bearing bell crank style set up similar to rc cars and I’m using a ezgo rack 😎👍Im sure I talked about it more in one of the other videos in the playlist but I can’t remember which one 🤔 thanks for watching and commenting 😁🏎💨💨💨💨

DENIS AUNGA You can use any motor you want you just have to build a motor mount if you use a motorcycle engine if you watch my reaper MiniTrike Build Part 2 I show how to build an engine cradle. for a reverse gear I am in the same boat I am going to buy a reverse gearbox transmission there about 120 bucks on eBay if you have anymore questions feel free to leave a comment
DENIS AUNGA Also some four wheeler engines have reverse built in not a bad choice if you can find one for the right price at a junkyard or something

I like it a lot the only issue is blow bye when you remove the governor I’m working on a fix I’m going to install breathers on the valve covers to help get the bad air out of the crankcase Hopefully that does the trick

@@kaleip Yep plus you have a clutch and a trans where you select the gear and not the torque converter, there will be times when you need the high rpm's in a low gear to get over some hills, with a torque converter as soon as you get some higher rpm's it goes in to a high gear and it bogs down the motor, so yea a 250 ninja motor is lot better choice...

@@heimlichhotrods I don't want but I'm running a GY6 200cc running 25 inch tires with a cvt out put 14 too 42 on axle i am around 38 to 40 trying to get more speed and considering a 670 I want to be able to hit about 55 or 60 with your setup how's the acceleration

kalei p It’s pretty difficult to explain but basically you want all your pivot points the same so you don’t have camber gain or bump steer. The whole build was done off the top of my head I’ve built a lot of suspensions There is a four part series on my channel about building arms

christopher roberts The shocks were actually helper shocks for an El Camino so you could put an extra 500 pounds in the bed $80 a pair

You can get them from any auto parts store they are 500 lb helper shocks for a pickup truck

I got the wheels and tires from a golf cart company they are 4 on 4”for an easy go The kart has changed a lot since that video check out some of the more recent stuff 👍🏎💨💨💨💨

Yeah those were 10 inch wheels I went up to a 12 inch wheel and change the lug pattern to a Yamaha rhino because I had extra wheels paddles all sorts of stuff that fit that

severon burgoon that’s a good idea 💡 I also plan on swapping out the engine for an r1 or possibly a goldwing engine because some of the big ones have reverse and that would be nice plus they have a lot of torque 🚗💨💨💨

That’s how you get away with registering as a go kart not a side-by-side but eventually it will get independent rear suspension with chassis mounted engine
