These guys always have Kurt Warner on and I gotta say that he always sounds logical and reasonable and professional. Tremendous respect for the guy as a player and post career professional

With the way the offense is finding its footing, the bears have a chance to beat these teams at least once and go 3-3. Remember the defense held houston to 19 points with nico collins when the offense was terrible and lost only by a TD. If the bears played them now i think it would be a different result.

Russell also faced a NY jets team that had 5 secondary players on ir...so let's chill with the JF slander. I bet he would of been, just as effective yesterday, as Russell was.

Probably not considering how poor his passing was against the Raiders the week before.

I love how good the teams are this year in the NFC North, especially the Da Bears and how good Caleb has gotten week to week. I hope this continues for a few seasons and Da Bears always start to come out on top, make playoffs and hopefully win it all a few times.

Lol I know it’s super early on a take like this but honestly y’all ….I’ve never said this as a bears fan but I think we have a chance in every game going forward because of 18. Like legit bro because our QB is that good & by week 11 he should be in a nice groove as a QB in rookie season. I really believe we have chance with this defense & with Caleb at QB. I think Cole Kmet said it earlier today when asked “why do you believe the offense can sustain this success ?” Because of our QB is very good.

I think Caleb and the offense starting to gel against lower quality defenses is a plus. He's adjusted his processing speed, getting his internal clock set and seeing the level of talent he needs to be at to succeed. Houston was solid playoff team playing a Bears team that had a rookie QB and and Oline that was struggling and realized Nate Davis is a bum. Pryor comes in and the attitude quickly changes. The protection was obviously adjusted and has been better. This revamped Oline has played better AS A UNIT and it's clear they are starting to bond. This is not to say that the Bears WONT be challenged by better defenses, especially this 2024 Vikings defense. But he's making reads at the line of scrimmage, picking the best play and letting it fly. He's getting help from Waldron presnap identifying coverages with motions. His throws are mostly solid and he knows what he has to improve to become next level. This is is the best I've felt about a Bears QB and offense overall. That doesn't mean we are winning out, our won't get beat by a playoff team thats clocking. But this IS the base of an offense that could be great for over a decade. Go Bears

One thing Caleb needs to do is protect himself. Look what happened to Daniels. Safety’s pads are bigger than a QB’s allowing them to pack more punch. Whenever you can, Caleb, slide.
@kant569615 сағат бұрын
Honestly hes been doing a decent job sliding or getting out of bounds. A few plays early in the season he didnt but when he had that big run vs the jags and slid a mid field when he could have kept running showed growth.
@gilbertlloyd869113 сағат бұрын
@RalphRowley-r8m he almost always slide. Last weak he slid at the 50 yard line so early the announcers called him out on it.

Caleb is 100x smarter than JD, he isn't going to let himself get drilled or folded over on runs

Quarterback is the hardest position to fill with that guy let alone adding your opinion to it
@michaeljiggs205316 сағат бұрын
When discussing Goeff he perfectly explains the difference between a guy that is a great athlete vs a guy the can play the game well. This is why we got rid of Fields. Plus the biggest reason of all, starting with a new rookie deal with a guy that will be better than him in the long run.

Been a Bears fan since 1983 and I can honestly say after watching the Lions and Vikings play each other, our team isn't on the same level. Our OLine is going to get wrecked and I feel sorry for Caleb because our division games are going to be brutal for him. Hopefully our GM will learn how to put an Online together one day for his sakes.

@@TSHAWx1995 haha I wish. I would have a lot of victories to celebrate. Instead I have been rooting for an organization who has 37 QBs over the last 3 decades while Green Bay has had 3. I'm just a bears fan who removed the hopium goggles about 5 years ago.

Been a Bears fan since 75. Watched the same game as you but came up with the opposite conclusion. Vikings & Lions aren't that much above us skill/talent-wise. Yeah, our OL sucks & its all on Poles, but nobody's perfect & no one is hands down better. Our 6 division games could easily go either way.
@estevenj15 сағат бұрын
The Bears cannot beat the Packers with the line talent they have. It will be the same as last year until Poles wakes up and fixes the OL.

And it looked like he was putting everything he had into every pass he threw. As long as he's played, it looked like he has lost some arm strength.

A few of that 55% were spectacular catches on bad passes
@kant569615 сағат бұрын
@@monstersofmidway2239but thats the thing. Hes giving the receiver a chance to make a play down field. You dont really get that with fields. It limits your offense when all the defense gotta do is play zone so their back isnt towards fields so he can run. Thats exactly how green bay used to play him. They made him be a pocket passer and have to throw in those zone windows. If he took off, then the line backers are there to cut him off for short gain. He will break 1 or 2 runs on you but thats about it.
