Watching parts of that game I saw the same missed blocking assignments leaving unblocked rushers leading to sacks. That’s either Waldron or Morgan or their inability to work together. The Bears have been out-coached all year. This is on Poles.

@ He kept Matt Eberflus after 2 years of incompetent decision making. I believe that there were 3 games that he managed to lose in the final minutes with 95% chances of winning. The odds of that are 1/million. Poles stuck with a guy who had proven that he is not an NFL head coach and is predictably making the same mistakes. Ryan Poles put this offensive line together. I don’t think that I need to elaborate on that one.

@ This is not a turn around either. We’re one of the worst teams in the league with a team that was supposed to be significantly better on paper. Poles made some good personnel moves, but he STILL hasn’t fired the coaches that are running this. If you do not think that Eberflus is an acceptable coach, I don’t know how you can defend Poles. I thought Poles was great and was willing to trust him. That trust is gone.

@@FRESH___ I’ll give you that Poles did a good job on salary cap but otherwise, personnel and coaching decisions have been atrocious. Claypool, Velus, Nate Davis, Shelton and Bates, Kiran was injured and gone half the year, the OL was bad before the injuries, Keenan and Gerald Everett look like busts. Swift is not used enough. Caleb is getting killed. DL can’t put pressure on the QB. Expensive LB have regressed. Two OC, two DC in three years, huge coaching staff brought in, and they are worse on both sides of the ball. Last year we had Luke Getsy on offense and we got worse with a more talented QB who we can’t protect. Make it stop. Somebody do something.

Exactly! How many times this year have we had 3 or even 4 receivers (including TEs) all within 5 yards of each other on a play? It seems to happen at least a few times per game. The play calling and concepts don’t make any sense. Also, and what I noticed (and what Daryl Johnston said) is how many times Caleb is hitting his plant leg in a five step drop and nobody is open or even breaking. Yes, he does hold the ball too long at times, but he’s also doing so because the play design isn’t matched up to the tempo of the drop back. Players are to blame for a lot of what we’re dealing with, but coaching is the real problem.

For some reason they aren't watching the games the fans are seeing every Sunday, I suggest as a bears fan to quit showing up to the games on Sunday and leave that stadium super empty, if the players gave up the locker room rooms, we shouldn't show up to the stadium or game.
