This gig is epic. I saw them about a week or two after this show and they were every bit as good even though they played a support slot in an almost empty venue. They gave everything!

Yeah, man! That's Josh Scogin to his truest form.... he ALWAYS brings his best and gives it his all. You should watch old Norma Jean shows when they were in a basement of a church with like 10 people watching. Josh ALWAYS brings it his all. Why? "Mediocrity is the killer!!!!!"

Did not realize Tourette's was a Nirvana song until right now. - Every Time I Die also covers it - The old Chariot track 'The Deaf Policemen' is SHOCKINGLY similar. So cool to see the influence through the years of Scogin.

Them playing this song is what made me fall in love. First time seeing them i had NO idea who they were. Then they played this song with only 10 people in the audience and I went INSANE. Never thought I'd EVER hear that song live. Josh Scogin is a fucking God!

Dude this is a great recording of an amazing fucking band. I will always randomly search for good live shows of this band. Some way I did with the chariot. Josh Scogin is all about the live shows. The studio is just where he comes up with the idea's. So thank you for giving me the next video in his saga. It's an hour of pure greatness. I' Would say I wished more people would listen to this band but that would just make Josh quit this band and start a new one. He does that shit every fucking time!

I first saw 68 open for Norma Jean at El Corrazon in Seattle on Nov 6 2015. Norma Jean was doing a 10 year anniversary of their 2nd album "Oh God the Aftermath" which of course Josh did the vocals for... one of the best live shows I've ever seen Norma Jean was soooooo intense sounded BETTER than the album. Been a huge fan of Josh Scogin throught his Chariot years too the guy had evolved for the better just listen to ANY 68 song sick sick stuff!!

Its on a loop petal. You can see him hitting the petal after he first plays the riff. Then plays a different guitar part on top of the riff he previously recorded.

Every time ive seen them the bass is almost overwhelmingly huge. Its just from this recording not capturing the low end well, trust me. watch the youtube video titled, "'68 Whether Terrified or Unafraid April 28, 2018 Ft. Rock".

@Octavio Baldovino actually it's because Josh plugs his guitar into a guitar AND bass amp to get him the extra boost. Also, (not sure if this is true today) but they used to use tube amplifiers which gave a more warm and bassy sound live. Sorry, I'm a bit of a Josh Scogin fanatic.
