I’m working on a 69 Satellite on my channel. It felt like a million spot welds before the quarter skin was finished.

@@NewhouseofSpeed I check out your channel and subscribed, that F8 69 satellite is definitely cool, I believe I have the interior out of a sport satellite that is the same exact colors and pattern. The original window sticker is definitely a nice bonus. I agree stitch welding those quarters in does feel like a million and a half spot welds but it’s worth it in the end to take the time and not hurry it too much. Thanks for watching and thanks for the support.

Hack job!

@@SRT-x9p well let’s see what cars you have done if you think it’s a hack job

@@Millersmoparsnothing wrong with the way you applied this rear quarter panel, welding across the top of the quarter panel is far more stable for the body filler and it’s long term rather than welding at the roof seam in my opinion. The roof seam will flex and crack just my opinion and my experience actually 😊 The car is coming along nicely! You picked up a troll I see 😊 SRT I bet he hasn’t even used a welder.

@@caseyoingo6440 thank you I’m glad you like what I’m doing and like the car. I went with the 80% quarters because of the cost I believe they were about half the price of the complete quarters. I can see where this would crack at the seams, but have never actually put them on a car. I’ve always patched in the panels. As of the SRT guy with a name like that he sounds like he is more into the newer Mopars so he probably buys his cars and drives them. My cars are garage built never bought cause that’s all I can afford lol
