Columnar jointing? No no, didn't you hear that those structures are ancient trees and those columnar structures are actually the grains of gigantic trees that our gigantic ancestors depleted? Folds are an anomaly that can’t be explained by uniformitarianistic thinking. You just can’t bend rock to the extent visualized . Have you considered a single global catastrophic flood?

Apparently you have not seen recumbent folding nor come to understand that heat, pressure, time, and varying stress levels can certainly bend rock. The evidence is everywhere. I have considered a single global catastrophic flood and realized it would form a global horizon of flood scour and deposits, followed by a global graded bed, and then only material younger than that deposited on top, and that SURE DOESN'T EXIST, so . . . score 1 for uniformitarianism, and facepalm for failed mythologies. I politely invite you to take your religiously based ideas somewhere else.

CVshorey you realised wrong because you didn’t think about it enough. What evidence should there be? How many layers? That’s how you get layers deposited with knife edge separation.
