That couple makes less a year than my husband and I. We've never had the money to go on vacation and we can only afford a 2006 dually truck to haul our cattle. I don't even have a car. I have no doubt that they contrived this scheme after realizing there was an opportunity for money to be made. Yes, he is a user! However, he most likely got that way from serving our country. Somethings are hard to deal with, and if we do come back, we might not be the same. The way that this case is being publicized, I feel that it is a blessing in disguise. It sheds the light and sets the standard for anyone else trying to scam the system. The justice system should make examples out of the greedy thieving scammers to deter others from doing this in the future.

I heard he spends it on drugs to escape addiction. And like many people it was opiates he was addicted to. The meds to escape addiction are costly and it supposed to be for him to use. If he messed up and ruined his life with the gift given that is his choice. I will be sad for him but I can't force him to things my way just because I want it.
