Minute 4:19, it hit me hard. I went through the exact same thing, 17 years old, broken leg, destroyed my football career, went to a deep depression that I keep fighting every now and then, and every time I try to play again is horrible for me, so now I try to avoid it for my mental health and for my leg pain (it hurts every day). 6 AM waking up rocks!! It does mean I have to get to bed on time, which does not always happen. I am all for a siesta and take a nice chill lunch. I do need my coffee in the morning and walk to either Tims or Bux. They are about 15-minute walk away and on occasion (especially now that the weather is getting nice) bring my iPad Pro 11 and sit reading the morning news on the patio. We now work in the office on TWT and I am generally the first one there, even before the security staff gets there and they have asked me not to come in before 7 AM because they need to "screen" the office. At the office we have everything, can get our lunch catered and delivered to our desk. Massage chairs, on Wednesdays there is a small band playing in the caf. It is all to bring in the people back to the office. At home my mornings are much more chill, I start working around 8 - 8:30. Break at noon, make lunch. I only eat in the morning and lunch, the evening I just don't care too much for food, mostly water. Two cups a coffee a day, no sugar. Recently I got myself a Windows laptop, I have to buy it myself, but that is no big deal. I am planning to take it out in the sun room and leave my 16" MBP M1 on my desk. I am a gamer as well, so in the afternoon, after my work laptop gets closed I fire up the console(s) or the Steam Deck and unwind for an hour. Then go for a nice walk around the block and come back home for family time. I shower twice a day, love that feeling of clean in the sheets. I am just trying to squeeze in a 30-minute walk at the office, but it does not happen much, meetings and work seem to take over. No gaming on those days, or maybe at happy hour on Thursdays. Have you noticed that the work days seems to become 10 hours lately and working from home one day and either Friday or Monday is a lazy day?
