As soon as I updated to 18.1, I instantly had many issues that fell into two basic categories: location of photos and serious editing glitches. The first was an easy fix that took care of everything except the fact that Favorites is no longer an album and is located elsewhere. But that’s nothing compared to the editing glitches that thousands are experiencing. Several of the basic options when adding text to a pic don’t work at all, with the options appearing for less than a second before disappearing so there’s no time to select anything. As of right now, I can no longer change the color of any text I add and even adding or changing the color of a shape is difficult bcse the options box is now partially covered by the choices for pen, pencil, eraser, etc. and nothing will change or fix it yet for me. The only “official” suggestion I’ve gotten is to remove ios18.1 from my phone.
