The reason why Dallas is gonna be scary this season and for years to come is not just Luka. It's also this guy. Can move and switch like a wing and can bother shots from PG to Cs with ease. He actually outplayed Wemby, Chet, Gobert, and many other Cs on many of their face offs last season. He can guard 3-5 easily and can also hold his own against attacking 1s and 2s. He can also pass and is improving his post moves and 3 point shots. Develop this young man at all cost, turn him into a KG, and dynasty gonna arrive in Dallas very very soon.

@orionzervakos16 күн бұрын
@MistaWordz I'm looking for Lively to get 30 minutes per game and Gafford to cover the remainder. Kidd has a tall task on his hands: develop Lively into a top 5 center and also be sure he stays healthy for the playoffs. If I'm right about his step forward this year, Kidd will be remiss to not play him at least 30 minutes per game. That'd be like playing Luka 24 minutes in the name of keeping him healthy. You wouldn't do it
@MistaWordz16 күн бұрын
@@orionzervakos Yeah but Luka also doesn't have a backup that's almost as good as him so it's different. That's also why I said that if Lively develops his shooting like other bigs such as Al Horford and Brook Lopez, he could split his time between playing 4 and 5 to get his 30 mins.

People think Lively is a solid all around player. What they are missing is how incredible defensively he is. If Wemby and Chet didn't exist last year, we would be talking about how a rookie is defending like Lively. He is going to be a top 3 defender in the league. Something like a more mobile Gobert. To put it in perspective, the Pelicans who have no real center now, magically had Lively instead of Yves (the rookie center they drafted this year), they would be a title contenders and set with a team that has DJ, CJ, Ingram, Zion, Lively as a starting five that can do literally everything. Also Lively's deal is so so so cheap right now, for another 3 years of cheapness at the center position which is the most overpriced position in the league. Just wait till he starts hitting threes. This is the third guy along with Wemby/Chet that will be the one of the best centers in the league
