Ive been using my zflip 3 for 5 months and have been loving it. I'd recommend it to anyone who's a light phone user, the crease is there but I've never noticed it unless someone brings it up.

@@dhirajvasava hey sorry for the late reply I dont go on yt often. I personally love myn and would recommend it to others altho if you value battery life and cameras this aint it. I was coming from a google pixel 3 and its camera smokes the flip, its barely a comparison, battery is fine for me but im a pretty light phone user and Im always near a charger but if you're a heavy user or arnt around chargers alot you might find your self carrying around a battery bank just in case you need alittle juice. also if you're a clean freak like me, your gonna be cleaning it constantly, the screen picks up everything and since its folded most the time the screen doesnt get cleaned when you slip it in your pocket. over all I love the phone but it does have its issues that might turn some people away.

Great review! I honestly don't have a problem with crease. Yes it's there, but it's a folding screen, it's unavoidable. It doesn't really distort my reading or view of the screen unless you're watching hours of Netflix shows. (At that point, get just a tab) I use this at my office desk flipped open, very convenient and responsive when scrolling through emails.

i was a skeptic, worried of the durability but i must say after my 6 months. i don't mind the screen, if your worried about the crease you shouldnt have gotten it in the first place. its a folding phone, you cant expect everything to be perfect. performance is great and cameras are good. ive dropped multiple times and thanks to the folded protected screen i would've broken a normal brick style phone by now. if your debating on getting this phone, get it. you wont regret it! only thing to keep in mind the battery isnt the best, i listen to youtube at work with screen off. from 7am to around 1pm the battery is close to dead and needs charged.

Yeah I've been using this phone for about 4 months now and I'd say my biggest disappointment is the battery life 🙁. I always end up having to charge it between noon and 2pm. But besides that I still think it's an incredible phone and very unique. One of the reasons why I love Samsung, they have a phone for just about everyone.

The screen has held up since I've got it a month after launch and only the screen protector has ripped or creased but was an easy fix to replace the thin screen protector. A phone i recommend to everyone. Still works great and battery is awesome!!

Wow! He really didn't like that crease. I use my phone a lot, A LOT, watching videos, reading, work, etc. I've had this phone for a while, more than 6 months, and it is the best phone I have ever had. I can take pictures with a whole group by just resting the phone on the desired angle, even on rocks. The small screen is amazing. The crease is there but it is nearly invisible, unless you are outside or under heavy light, like a filming studio. I usually read and watch videos in low lit or dark places. I would never buy a phone for the novelty, only if it is practical. I completely disagree with this guy. I think he was just looking to justify a 6 months review. I've had just about every Samsung phone, so when I say the best phone I've ever had I'm comparing with the Samsung family, a few sony, and it's been a while since I had an LG. I have never had an iPhone, but mainly because I like good quality and performance not only a pretty rose gold phone, but that's a whole different topic.

The crease was noticable at first but I think I got so use to it that I no longer see it unless I'm outside with direct sunlight hitting it. Personally it's the first phone I've had so much fun with since.... Well... As far as I can remember lol Only issue I have with the phone is the camera. But I walked into it knowing I probably wouldn't like it. I usually swap between iphones and pixels every 6 months and have owned every iPhone and Pixel so I'm use to way better cameras. And this camera doesn't suck.... But it reminds me of a 2015 level camera (except during low light. It does surprisingly well). The front camera however is possibly my favorite on any phone right now (shockingly)

Wait til you see the battery test reviews for it. The fold 3 was my first foldable and it's battery is horrible. He said he's a light user and would get through a whole day. I'm betting he only read articles and used it for phone calls or texts. If you go on social media, watch youtube or tictok, or do anything else a normal "light user" does with a smart phone, then no you'll get only half a day. Rumor has it the flip 4 will have a 4000mah battery so we'll see if it helps.

Honestly, the crease is not an issue. Got a very nice case for my phone. I do a lot of reading on my phone. In fact as I'm typing, I'm typing in the crease - no problem. I love that I can fit my phone into my pockets without it falling out. Not saying that the crease might not bother some folks but, this is the best phone I've used so far out of the Samsung brands. I always had issues with screens gets scratched, broken. Now I just keep it closed and open it when I need to use it.😊

My screen stopped working and despite zero sign of damage to the screen or phone it was not covered by warranty. Repaired via Samsung care+ but will not be going for folding smartphones again until I know for sure they are reliable

Have the phone. The first one came out never had a issue, I upgraded to the Flip 3 and it lasted eight month. The crease got a crack. However, claiming the insurance is useless. They DO NOT replace the phone and they charge 229.99 to give you a refurbish phone that is not the Flip 3. I cancelled the insurance. They charge month for you to pay for something that I purchase less than a year ago. They also said that they do not carry the Flip 3 phones anymore.

Ok so had my Z flip 3 for 7 months now and the screen protector started to crack in the middle. Just an FYI if you take off the screen protector the warranty is over. Also if you want a new screen protector the screen has to be changed out for the new protector is what I am told by the Samsung retailer. So basically it looks like in my case that the screen will have to be changed out every 6 to 7 months. I would not recommend buying this and the sad part is I love Samsung products except this phone.

I owned this phone for a year today, the middle part didn't break for me yet, since I don't flip it with force and one hand like an old cellphone (like everyone else lol). I had to replace the screen protector, then take it off shortly after because I was traveling in humid countries tho. If you live in a humid place; the humidity gets under the screen protectors because of the crease, so no screen protectors for you.

My flip 3 is 6 months old and the folding area of the screen started turning black. Couple of days later the top half of the screen would not respond to touch selecting. When I called Verizon about the warranty I expressed that with all the bad reviews I now have read online I would prefer a different model. All they could offer me is the S10. That is what I had before this. I have about 5 hours of store time and on the phone with them. Not a happy Verizon customer!

The battery life is what did it for me, it was like 1 percent for every 2 or 3 minutes sometimes even in stand by. Had to turn it back in and go back to iPhone. Might go back if they improve on it because I loved the look and speed.

Honestly better off getting the S22 Ultra. I've had my flip 3 for a few months and the novelty wore off after a day. And the only time I fold it is when I go to bed. So if you're like me just get the bigger screen / better specs.

There were a few times that the tablet did an awkward thing where it would detect pen on at all times and wouldn't register finger press, but it is usually fixed by closing and opening either the screen or app. This is highly likely due to my excessive use for drawing which caused this and wasn't really very big. As I mostly enjoy using the tablet for drawing (and some light gaming), I would comment from that aspect that there is definitely more accurate pressure and drawing using a PC device and drawing tablet, however i find the moveablity of the tablet more enjoyable to draw on. Like how you can physically rotate and move a piece of paper around or even draw casually on your bed.All in all, as a tablet it is good, and as a drawing device can be good depending on what you want from a drawing device. It is definitely good enough if you just want to use it to take notes. For typing though I can't comment on the keyboard as I did not get the keyboard.

6months The crease is like the notch on iphones. After a few days you don't even notice it. When watching videos it's virtually non existing. It doesn't make words look stacked on each other. Swiping and feeling the scream isn't annoying. It becomes "just there". Idk where this guy is getting this from. Only cons are cameras and battery life. Get "samsung band selector aop" and swit h to 4g and it'll never die on you during the day

@@AlexSeibel My screen is still in excellent condition. I must state that i use 2 phones and that i don’t have installed much apps on my Flip3 but i douse it daily and it’s still as new after a year. But i must also say that i had my Flip3 always in a covercase. Its less "sexy" but i don’t like when it when my stuff get damaged. So yeah after a year or so my Flip3 is still as new.

The crease has a crack after 1 year for me. The screen cannot turn on eventhough I scan my finger. I use it pretty carefully and never drop it. The cost of fixing ( in Thailand) is more than 200usd. I'm done with this phone. I will sell it as soon as possible because I dont want to live with anxiety of when it will break again.

My husband just got this given to him, and i am trying to decide if he will like it, but my question , he now has a samsung sim card, can i take the sim card out and put in the new one?, also we have cricket, which is own by ATT, but, they told me that they couldn't do take the sim card out and that I would have to manually enter in all his contacts on this new phone, and then down load all his apps, which is not many, but like FB, a game or two, is this true, i guess my thing is, can the old android samsung information be put on this new phone. thanks for any help.

When I tried opening this phone at the store it was too stiff to open flick open with your thumb, which to me is the entire purpose of a flip phone. Can anyone with this phone tell me if it loosens up over time so that you can flick it open with your thumb?

It DEFO loosens up after a few days (in fact I was afraid that the hinge could be meh! after a few weeks) and seems to stay that way after that. Just tried to open it with one hand (thumb) only. Quite possible but imho it feels a little bit weird to do so. Probly needs a large hand to do it easily?!

I've had the samsung galaxy flip 3 z for a few months now and the crease hasn't been a problem at all. The only thing that's making my experience a mess is the batterie life. I've read about it not being as good as the other samsungs but I've had such a massive problem with it that the batterie dies after just half a day. In the beginning I could use the phone while charging it, same thing with other phones, but with the samsung galaxy flip 3 z the batterie even GOES DOWN when I use it. I always have to take powerbanks with me because I know that the batterie will be dead after a few hours. Is it like that just for me? Pls tell me :/

I have really liked this phone but one year and one month in the pixels deteriorated and I am faced with the black screen of death. Tons of comments out there from others with same issue. So if you want to spend $1000 a year just to have a small device, go for it. Do not recommed this phone for anyone.

Actually our Z Flip 3 had a defect behind the screen where a screw was not tightened down on the hinge which put a slight raised bump in the lower half of the screen near the hinge this caused the screen protector to bubble on the side with the raised bump which caused the bubbling at the hinge to slowly move across the hinged area. I sent the phone in and Samsung sent it back saying everything was good and no screen protector on screen now. I called back in and told them the issue was still there behind the screen so sent it in again and they replaced the screen and tried to charge me $499 which i talked down to $135 honestly i shouldnt have had to pay anything as the defect was from day 1. I've seen others with the same phone that did not have this defect. My Fold 3 didnt have this defect either. I recieved it back the 2nd time and they reinstalled the screen protector and stated they replaced the screen but the original defect that caused this issue is still there and i am positive the screen protector will bubble again due to the screen having a raised bump under it. Called again and stated it was still not fixed and now i am waiting for a replacement phone or a refund if one is not available per their representative. Their Texhs dont know how to fix defects i believe they only know how to replace screens or giving refurbs.

I am currently and been using for a year a one plus 7t pro mclaren for all my gaming and movie needs personal opinion the best display ever I had an s22 plus gave it back. An a s21 ultra love it but I love a curved display more. I will be using my one plus Mcnugget and my z flip 3 daily now. I can't wait and if it dies oh well I got another phone with me for work anyways

@@laraspijker3820 That is not great. As it's foldable the battery pack is divided in two parts...total is 3300mah plus it does not support ultra fast charging and maxes out at 15W charging. Takes about 1.15hr to charge from 0 to 100 But that's part and parcel of using such great piece of tech. Hopefully they better this in flip 4

Yes, the phone has to get to learn usage habits. You can see progress in "Device Care". Battery dies because you are learning how to use it & setting up phone.

I own this phone.. and I'm going back to flat phones. It damages way too easily. Mine will be dead in the next month thanks to a black circle growing in the screen with a bright green line going across the screen... possible from being opened and closed.

I've had my flip phone no longer than 8 months and the screen cracked along with frame just like the user in the video tried to get it replaced but Samsung refused to saying that I dropped it and it's my fault😓 so now I am phoneless and still paying for it

The crease is a nominal issue, the biggest are for sure the random cracks on the main screen that happen to some people and the low battery life, also not having the option to insert an SD card and a lesser camera. I got mine refurbished on gray market and it came without the screen protector, i dunno if thats bad or good. I need to be more careful and gentle but on the other hand the protector might have given the screen unnecessary stress while you are folding it, time will tell.

Got mine off refurbished store also with like 45% off original price. They give one year warranty and promises 100% better quality. And when I got it, it looked brand new, screen protector on even the plastics around the phone. So don't know what exactly is refurbished here. But if you got one without protector on that can't be good, it weakens the screen and I've seen people having problem with the protector getting lose then taken it off to just get the screen crack in few days. So you should check with the store you got it from if they maybe forgot to replace the screen protector. But don't know all this talk about screen cracking is making anyone nervous, I think it depends. I love it so far but let's see how it holds up.

I've owned three of these devices and I'm absolutely convinced that every one of these reviewers are not using this device as a daily driver when they give their six and nine month reviews. They are using other phones as well. We're not getting a real review of the device we're getting a review of a shared device

I'm wondering why you say that. I think I agree. I love this phone but I've replaced it twice within. A year. I've dropped my cell and screen damage starts at the crease and excellerates from there, gradually going black. This was a mild drop with a cell covering.
