I think for certain scenarios you actually don't want noise cancellation. I ride my bicycle a lot. I have been using the plantronics earbuds for when I ride my bike, but I have a set of the series As on the way specifically because they are like my old plantronics ones. They don't have noise cancelling. I want to be able to hear in the background what is going on around me. I need to be able to hear approaching cars. It's a safety thing for me. The only time I wear earbuds is when I am on my bike.
@alexlane23032 жыл бұрын
If you're only wearing them while cycling then the a series are a better choice I guess since their a lot cheaper, but if your planning to be using them on other occasions too, an investment in noise cancelling earbuds can be really worth it. You can turn noise cancelling off or even turn on an ambient sound mode for when you're cycling but still have that noise cancelling for when you're using mass transportation and stuff like that.

I had the Pixel Buds 2 (well, had several Pixel Buds 2 as they kept failing to charge). I tried a few others (Galaxy Buds, Airpods) to replace them when the contact sensors sunk into the buds. But at the end of the day, I went with the A-Series because I loved the fit. Compared to the other ones around the market, they are absolutely my favorite.

To me their best feature is the top for notification. Because it's tell you the time and then after that whatever notifications you have it will read them off one by one. And they do a good job of separating your regular text messages from your email. I'm glad to see that they're bringing back the volume swipe on the pro version. I love how you have all of your controls on either earbud. I wonder if they're going to be able to do that on the pro version with the ANC capabilities.

I bought a pair of the Google Pixel Buds A-Series when they were first released. I heard that one of the improvements Google made over the original Pixel Buds was to make the stabilizer arcs on the A-Series out of a bit softer material than was used on the original Pixel Buds, which made using the Buds-A-Series more comfortable. Google just discounted (March 2023) the Pixel Buds Pro and the Pixel Buds-A Series. I find the Pixel Buds A-Series to be the buds I use while driving because I want to hear ambient sounds (horns, motorcycles, etc.). So I bought a second set of Pixel Buds Series-A. I just received my new Pixel Buds Series-A. I compared them to my original pair of Pixel Buds A-Series. The new Series A stabilizer arcs seem a bit longer and a bit more flexible than on my early release Pixel Buds A-Series. I think they will be more comfortable and more secure in my ears. (P.S. I now own 2 original Pixel Buds, two Pixel Buds A-Series, and two Pixel Buds Pros. Different colors for different days.)

I have both AirPods Pro 2 and the Pixel Buds A-Series. Obviously, the more you pay, the more you get in features. Anyway, I think the Pixel Buds are fantastic at having a great balance of transparency and noise cancellation. I know, I know, there is no ANC on these. However, the software features do provide a sense of ANC when there’s lots of noise. They are smart enough to be transparent when I am in a quiet room and my wife is talking to me. While at the same time masking loud noises when needed. I personally love them.

To be fair, the pixel buds-a passively block 20dBof high frequency sound -- which is more likely to cause hearing loss than low frequency sound. It also passively blocks 9dB of mids, which is the majority of human voice sound. So they practically block out most sound in practical situatioms (like sitting in a Starbucks or something like that).

Can you please please review the Edifier nb2 pro True wireless earbuds and compare with other flagship earbuds? I had a list of questions regarding the features earbuds offer I can paste down below those questions as sometimes the features are more useful than the sound quality. Here are dozens of important questions for every earphone; Do the buds have multi-device connection? Do they have volume controls on both earbuds ? Do they have play pause forward and backward controls on the earbuds? Do they have Google assistant support on the earbuds? Does it have a redial feature on the earphones? Does it have noise cancelling turn on/off feature on the earphones? Do they have auto pause feature when removed from ears? Can we wear them while running? Can we put memory foam buds on the earphones all the time even when we put in the case? Is it comfortable wearing for long hours? Does it show any lights on the charging case when we charge it or lights to show how much it is charged? Does it have type c charging port? Does it support fast charging? Does it support wireless charging? Does it at least have 7-8 hours of battery on the earbuds only and at least 30 hours with the case? Does it have ldac? Can we wear it while swimming or in the shower? Can we wear a helmet while wearing the earphones. Does it have a problem of accidental touches on the buds? Can we disable touch controls on the earbuds? Does it have find my earbud feature and how well does it work? Can we play the sound with just one earbud out of the case? Does it have translation feature? Does it have adaptive sound or adaptive noise cancelling? Can it cancel out eating sounds when I am talking on the phone while eating? How long does earphones take to connect if we instantly want to connect on an ongoing call? Does it have a feature that detects if the earbuds fit is good or not? Is there optimized battery saver option for the earphones? Can it read out notifications? Is there a sound leakage in the earphones? Is there a way to turn on bass boost directly using earbuds touch controls? same with adaptive sound? Can we connect other pair of earbuds with the same phone too so that even my friend can listen to the same music from my phone while we both wear earphones? Does the earphone have a low latency mode that controls the audio delay especially when gaming? Does have alert mode that detects sound of a crying baby or ambulance or barking dog etc.
