I have a 2011 Chevy automatic 1.4 trans . My trans was not working it was accelerating and not moving at all . The shop Just put in another trans and now having issues and won’t go into reverse . Can you please help me out ? This car has been a big problem for me and it’s only 108,000 miles . If you are willing to call me to give me some advice and help! That would be amazing

@@thisisyourtransmission 2011 and 2012 Chevy Cruze LT 1.4 automatic transmission is the only years that is the same . 1G1PF5S92B7141886 that is my vin if that helps

Buy the drum, wave plate, snap ring, and you may need the 3-5-reverse clutches amd steels.

I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze with the 1.8 l ecotec engine and I'm not sure if it's gen 1 or Gen 2 or a 60 or 65 transmission I haven't cracked it open yet. My problem is I've barely got any movement in reverse and once I'm going forward first seems okay second seems okay but then when it shifts into third it slips horribly and I've got no power in third. Once I get into fourth gear then it's okay again. Does this sound like the problem you were dealing with and if I replaced that drum with a completely loaded drum including all the clutches you think that's going to be my fix?

If this is your problem, then you will have to replace drum and snap ring, and wavy plate. If there is a lot of metal then you will have to completely clean the whole transmission. Sometimes the damage causes other parts to be replaced. Also, the valve body will have to come apart to make sure that there are no components.

Hi. Did you manage to fix your issue with the gearbox? I have the same issue with my Chevrolet orlando 2012 1.8 petrol. If yes... Can you let me know what was broken?

No, once I cracked it open I found it looked like a grenade went off inside. Metal everywhere. Bad scaring on things that aren't normally replaced. I actually don't know how it even moved at all, and without making any noise! I ended up getting a used transmission with 42k miles on it.

@@scottkennedy5302 OK. The same thing is happening to my gearbox no noises, fluid is nice and red no bad smell. Someone told me to change input and output speed sensors.... I already changed the TCM... I am afraid to invest more money on it and after that to find that I need to replace the gearbox 😬. Thanks for your reply. 👍
