There is no plans for East, WestMidlands, North West and North East Rapid speed rail loops only HS2 from the North and Birmingham to London propsed and upgrded rail services in Birmingham

Except it's just been announced (March 2023) that the new HS2 won't serve central London. It will terminate at Old Oak Common, 6 miles from Euston. Comical and pathetic in equal measure...

Yes and the 2nd half of it has now Neen cancelled thanks to that dickhead we have for a prime minister. It was in the news last week how many of them scumbags have quit the conservatives because they know they've got hell chance of winning the general election.😅😂😅😂😅 All I can say is roll on the next general election, I'm going to make sure that I'm first in the queue at the polling station with photo ID in hand!!!!!!!😅😅😅😅😅

I must say our City Centre is starting to look million times better than it did in 2007 before the Big City Plan, but it's disgusting that Birmingham City Council let our City Centre get into that condition. One development that you miss is the £1.9 billion redevelopment of Birmingham Smithfield, which is currently the biggest city centre redevelopment in the UK. The first phase is due to complete in 2028 & the rest in 2035.
