Spray painting is like alchemy, I used to do alloy wheel refurbishing and you have to get the prep right, the mixture right,the hardener and thinner right, it's seriously hard to do, well done for painting an entire vehicle, I wouldn't have the balls

Hey guys, I'm loving this build and excited to see the final result. I just have to say that with your building talents I hope you consider NOT shipping the Sainsbury's van to Canada/USA and doing a new build somewhere in North America. My recommendation would be to build a US model Sprinter, tour North and Central America and then sell the Sprinter in the US and pocket $30-60K USD profit off the build. The roller shutter table idea sounds great. Maybe have a fold out frame from the side of the camper with the roller shutter for an outdoor cooking BBQ area. Add the pop up marquee, lights, sounds, and you have a mobile festival machine. Great for the mud too! Now about the bikini ... sorry I'm leaving that right were I found it 😃😃

If you end up having a wooden table inside, you could use the water filler as a center piece/table mount. Cut a hole out in the table to set the filler in, and then attach the table leg to the center of the filler. If that makes sense.

Regarding the Water filler point, drill some small holes in it plumb in some Gas fittings, and use it as a Gas Hob / Burner. It could be used for Water and Fire in its lifetime!

RAL 3000 is the standard color for most European fire vehicles, I have a 1994 Ford Transit former commando vehicle originally built by Rosenbauer and it is painted in RAL 3000.

Love this build and the channel, my shout for the water inlet would be to drill out the centre and run your water through it to make a wall mounted tap for your sink. It then kind of keeps it's original purpose.

How about using the filler cap as the clamp for the spare wheel? John could drill the PCD for the studs and then use cap cover to sandwich it to the bracket. Give it a clean up, polish and clear coat and it'll be in full view for all to see.
