People who say that this deck isn't that good are wrong. I have been winning duels against top tier decks with Shiranui-Vendreads for some time now. Of course, it might loose to certain archetypes now and then but you can build it in different ways to adapt to the meta by adding a horde or a Battlelord (I've OTK'd so many people by negating monster effets and getting rid of that damn kiteroid). The deck is consistent in a competitive format, more so when you fully understand it's mechanism. And it's a really fun deck to play!

@Omar tarek Necrovalley sure is problematic to Vendreads (or any zombie deck to be precise). However, if you summon your ritual monster by using a Vendread Horde that was on the field, you get a special effect that lets you banish any spell or trap card, once per turn, including Necrovalley. So it's an easy way out. As for NMCR, the skill is pretty irrelevant now that it's been nerfed but even before, it didn't counter Vendread Battlelord entirely. You could still banish a Vendread spell card from you graveyard to activate it's effect.

I just tech in Idaten in my Vendread deck, no Shiranui required. +1000 to all ritual monsters, and Battlelord can add Idaten from the deck. And if you want, you can add Cyber Angel Ritual so you can actually summon Idaten and then search for a Vendread ritual spell. The synergy is great tbh.

You first have to know what kind of deck you want to make, what card will be the core of the deck, from there you should know what to do, make a deck around that card. Also, if your knowledge is still limited you can take a look in internet the deck you want to make and take a reference from there.

The ritual you getting from this pre-preparation is what we call a vanilla ritual spell. It has to list the name of the ritual monster. It doesn't work with vendreads or nekroz or cyber angels.

@@terrywhywhy I’ve been thinking about it and it could definitely still work. In my build I run 2 Sunsaga and 3 Solitaire so it’s a big hit but not as bad as regular Shiranui got hit. I can’t say for sure until the ban gets implemented

Vendreads never left. I've been playing a similar deck like this and got KoG 3 times. I do use houndhorde, extra executor and anima. Because the main goal rly is to get out a houndhorde/revenants buffed ritual out. And just protect them until you exhaust all of the enemy's resources.

x2 Executor, x3 slayer, x1 battlelord (cause the ladder is crazy). With Master of rites ll you get the "Executor target lockdown" nothing can be targeted xD. I've been kog 4-5 times since then and u have an executor buffed with houndhorde or Revenants.

noamto no. For every ritual monster in the deck I add another copy, so you don’t brick with the ritual that uses the deck. I don’t want 6 ritual monsters, or you’ll brick too much. So for consistency sake you choose between building around executor or battlelord. If you’re using battlelord I would use master of rites I instead.

If your going to use glow up bulb it’s probably better to run master of rites I because slayer + glow up bulb makes a level 7 synchro. When going second against any sort of board, you’d most likely wanna make black rose dragon, which blows up your ritual cage (along with everything else on the board.)

I play this dack and made 3 KoG with it and what you say is absolutley true, that's whay i play two houndhorde. I play one more ritual monster and one less field spell. Another nice card you can play is the glow-up bloom, summonable by solitaire.

Well squire is taking a hit so you can't do 3 squire 3 cosmic. So as long as solitare don't get hit then you should be fine with this deck ^^ And if you don't have a third solitare, you can subistute a plague spreader zombie :p

So I'm a little P.Od. I spend money.... I spent time building this deck because it looked so perfect. For a week a grinded and got everything I need and I've switched stuff up and already have a great shiranui deck but I haven't won a decent duel what so ever with this. I've tried everything and was really disappointed. If anyone has any tips or something then I'd gladly accept them. I've watched this video and wat kids videos on them and both make this deck look awesome. Unless I'm missing something then it's trash.
